"Hi! I'm Ophelia — singer, songwriter, professional overthinker — and today, I'm going to answering the most sent, searched or asked questions about me. Let's see what weird things you've been Googling about me."
what was it like opening for Taylor Swift? "It was wild. Like, I had to remind myself to breathe sometimes. The crowd was insane. But Taylor's such a pro, she made the whole experience so much easier. I'll never forget how she made us feel so welcome. and it was such a dream being able to hear enchanted live, that was a song i connect with a specific time of my life, and honestly it fixed me in some way"
Do you have any dream collaborations? "Honestly, I'd love to work with someone like Phoebe Bridgers or even Taylor, but I think I'd freak out if I ever had the chance! I'd also love to work with artists I haven't even met yet. The idea of unexpected collaborations sounds really exciting."
How do you feel about the fans' reactions to your album? "It's a bit surreal. Some people have really connected to certain songs, and it's weirdly humbling. It's almost like they're hearing a part of me that I didn't even know I had the courage to show."
You've been pretty private about your relationship with Will. How did you two meet? "We met at a festival actually. A mutual friend introduced us, and we hit it off pretty quickly. He's an American singer, so we both understand the crazy touring life. But we're still figuring out the whole long-distance thing. It's a bit tricky, but I think we're making it work."
How does Will support you with your career? "He's super understanding. I mean, we both get it. Being in this industry can get really overwhelming, and sometimes you just need someone who doesn't treat you like a 'star.' He's very chill about it all."
What's something people misunderstand about your relationship with Elijah? "I think people like to think there's drama or unresolved feelings, but honestly, there's no bad blood. We're both just in very different places now. Sometimes, things just end, and that's okay."
Tell us about your dog, Weenie. Does he have any funny habits? "Weenie is a sausage dog, so he's basically the king of my apartment. he has this hilarious habit of flopping over dramatically, like he's too tired to even walk. It's both sad and funny at the same time."
How did you and Lou become such close friends? "We clicked immediately when we met. She's funny, always keeps it real, and doesn't take any of my nonsense. We've been through a lot together, so I guess we just understand each other."
What's it like having a dad who was in a band? "It's... interesting. He's always been really chill about it, though. I think he kinda enjoys that I'm doing my own thing, rather than following in his footsteps. He's not the type to be like, 'Oh, you should do it this way because I did.' It's more like, 'Hey, as long as you're enjoying it, I'm proud of you.' It's inspirational really"
