EIGHT O'CLOCK ROLLED AROUND. Julia sat in front of her vanity mirror, makeup spread out on the counter. She was doing her final touches, making sure she felt comfortable tonight. That she felt pretty. Her bedroom door swung open and, from her mirror, she spotted JJ standing there. "Time to go, JC," he announced, eyes scanning her room. It wasn't like he hadn't been in there before. When John B wasn't around, he made it his mission to annoy the younger sister. Which meant barging in at random times and touching all of her stuff.
"Woah, where'd you get this?" He picked up the little, empty shot of fireball from her dresser. He was a little surprised to see that she had started early. Her nerves must really be messed up. "I got some old guy to buy it while me and Kie were out earlier," she confessed. Who wouldn't want to buy a pretty girl something? She pushed her stool out from beneath the vanity and stood up. She wore a pair of sandals on her feet, and a pair of jean shorts that reached the center of her thigh. Her bathing suit was on under the off the shoulder, sky blue shirt she wore. Her tan skin really popped with the colors.
She made her way toward her bedroom door, hand curling into JJ's shirt as she passed him. "C'mon," she said, pulling him out of her bedroom. She pushed him out first before grabbing all of her things. A purse to hold her phone, some cash, and lip gloss. JJ's eyes trailed over her outfit. She looked too grown up in his eyes. He wasn't sure he liked it much, but who was he to argue? As long as she felt comfortable and was having fun, then that's that.
"Wow," Kie spoke up from her spot on the couch. She was wearing her bathing suit, too, underneath her clothes. Only the button up she wore was open and showing off her frame. She wore colorful shorts with fringe at the bottom. "You look amazing!" Pope looked almost surprised. Julia wasn't one to try too hard. In all honesty, they never really see her outside of swimsuits and Nike shorts, or pajamas. The most she dressed up was during school, with her cute jeans and bracelets and beach waves.
