After the movie pony wants to walk home "no pony let's just call Darry" "C'mon nothing going to happen, I'm here to protect you" I scoff without meaning to and I mumble "you weren't there at the snack bag". He raise a eyebrow "what happened at the snack bar?" Man this guy hears everything does he. Cherry was still with us and I really didn't want to talk about it in front of her. Most likely she would say something like not all socs are like that and of course I know this but sooner or later if their around with certain people than they become a common soc. "Nothing" pony stops walking and pull me in too a hug and I almost hate him for it because he know ways to get me talking. "I'll tell you bout it later" "ok, but I won't forget" he says and put his arm back around my shoulder and I grab his hand from that arm. Cherry then goes back to talking to pony and I smile but it fades as I see the blue mustang coming. "Pony look what coming" I say and you can hear the fear in my voice I begin to tremble as they come closer. Pony pulls me closer and says "remember I promised to not let anything hurt you" I try to clam down a little but it doesn't help. The mustang pulls up next to us and two guy socs get out of the car one is Bob I think but I don't dare ask. "C'mon cherry she didn't mean nothing to me" the guy who I guess was Bob says. "Yeah right, we're over Bob!" Cherry says. They keep talking when the other comes up to us he looks me up and down pony pulls me closer "Hey baby why don't you come with us instead of that greaser" "She's mine! Don't you dare lay one finger one her or your dead!" The soc smirked and said "I think your be the one dead" my face drained of color this is exactly what happened I'm my dream but there least people and cherry is also here. "Run!" Pony tells me I take off because I thought he was behind me but he wasn't so I had to go back. I know it would be smarter to keep going but he's my pony and he wouldn't leave me behind he would fright til his last breath from me and I insist on doing the same. I make it back in time to see the soc to pull out his switch blade but unlike my dream its smaller than six inches. I couldn't let him stab pony and at the last minute I get in front of pony and the soc stabs me instead, the socs take off running but cherry stands there shocked. I fall but like I knew he would pony there to catch me. He yells something to cherry and it isn't nice I can tell by the tone of his voice she takes off running. "Pony" "ssshhh, your going to be alright" "you always say that" "because its true" I peck him on his lips. "Pony I remove the promise you made me, so don't feel bad"
