Esha's POV:
The sky was melting into hues of orange and pink, the sun lazily dipping below the horizon as if it, too, didn't want this moment to end. I stood barefoot in the balcony of our private villa. The gentle waves were kissing the shore. The breeze carried the scent of the ocean and a whisper of something warm-something that felt like forever.
Maldives feels like heaven.
I felt him before I saw him. His arms wrapped around my waist from behind, pulling me into the familiar strength of his chest. I leaned back into him instinctively, our bodies fitting together like we'd done this a hundred times, like we were made for this. Made for each other.
His chin rested lightly on my shoulder, his breath warm against my skin. Neither of us said anything. We didn't need to. The silence between us was full-of promise, of peace, of love that didn't ask to be spoken aloud to be understood.
I closed my eyes for a moment, letting the world slow around us. Just the two of us, standing there, wrapped in each other while the sun dipped into the sea. If this was the beginning of forever, I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful start.
His arms tightened just a bit around me, and I felt his lips brush the curve of my neck, slow and deliberate. A shiver danced down my spine, not from the breeze this time.
"You smell like paradise," he murmured, voice low and rough, sending tiny sparks straight to my stomach. "Everything feels better with you."
I turned in his arms, meeting his eyes-those dark black attractive eyes that always made me forget how to breathe. "Flattery on our honeymoon?" I teased, my fingers slipping up to rest on his chest. "You're really pulling out all the charm now, huh?"
He smirked, tilting his head. "Oh, baby, I haven't even started."
Heat flared in my cheeks, but I didn't look away. "Then maybe you should show me."
His gaze dropped to my lips, and his hands found the small of my back, tugging me closer until there was no space between us. "Careful," he whispered, his voice a delicious warning. "Say things like that and I'll have to remind you again our wedding night."
I bit my lip, my heart pounding in my chest "That's the point."
He groaned softly, pressing his forehead to mine, and for a moment we just stood there-breathing the same air, hearts beating in rhythm. Then he kissed me, slow and deep, like he had all the time in the world. Like I was the only thing that existed.
He pulled back from the kiss, just enough to look at me. "Come with me," he said, his voice husky, his eyes lit with something between mischief and desire.
I didn't ask where. I didn't need to. My hand found his. The sky behind us was painted in twilight, and the soft splash of waves followed us like a heartbeat.
The moment the door closed behind us, his hands were on my waist again, and I was up against the cool wood of the door, lips crashing into mine like he'd been holding back all day. I gasped into the kiss, fingers tangling in his hair as he pressed into me, his body telling me everything his words didn't.
"You have no idea how hard it was to wait until now," he murmured against my mouth, peppering kisses along my jaw, down my neck. "You in that outfit... watching the sunset like a dream... I was barely holding it together."
I was wearing a off white crochet halter neck crop top with crochet lavender short skirt and I also curled my hairs and accessoried with gold earrings, bracelets, and a waist chain.
I smiled, breathless. "Then don't hold back."
He paused just long enough to look at me, his thumb brushing my cheek with that softness he always carried-like even in the heat of it all, he never forgot I was something precious.
