FADE IN:

EXT. SCHOOL COURTYARD - AFTERNOON

In Allstar Middle School's courtyard, students- mostly nerds and geeks- are bustling about and chatting loudly. Club Candy is standing awkwardly aside from the rest of the crowd.

[NARRATOR, early 30s with a movie trailer-like voice almost like the narrator in TV show The Powerpuff Girls announces--]

Narrator: In MySims Kingdom, in a world-famous middle school, in its courtyard, Club Candy is taking a trivia quiz...

[A MySims tune plays in the background.]

LOCATION OF CLUB CANDY

[ZACK, a typical cool guy, slight music geek, with a clip-board and pencil behind his ear speaks up after a long period of awkward silence.]

Zack: (Sighs) This better be worth it.

[SAPPHIRE, a usually bubbly and enthusiastic girl, replies--]

Saph: Yeah, this is so not fun! (She frowns and crosses her arms)

[Slowly pacing around DJ CANDY groans. DJ CANDY is an entertaining, music-loving girl with a ton of swag, and expensive headphones around her neck.]

Candy: Ugh! I can't believe I, DJ Candy, is actually signing up for a trivia quiz. A TRIVIA quiz?!

[She shakes her head.]

[GOTH BOY, covered in dark clothing and facial piercings, slightly smirks while stating matter-of-factly--]

GB: That is quite ironic... "Queen of the Dancefloor" stuck in a courtyard with a bunch of nerds...

[CINDY, bossy, scornful and picky over who she associates with, mumbles while glancing over at GB's direction--]

Cindy (Aside): Yeah, and you're one of them.

[AMY, a bright red-head who is slightly arrogant, giggles lightheartedly. Candy face palms.]

Candy: Ugh, I know. My reputation is so ruined!

[CHRIS, a chill guy, sort of sleepy-eyed, replies--]

Chris: Well, this shouldn't take too long if we know our stuff.

[Tossing a baseball up and down, SHADOW, an average guy, kind of dorky, shruggingly adds--]

Shadow: Yeah, I mean how hard can a trivia quiz be?

[DJ ALEX, who is scanning the crowd of nerds before her overhears Shadow and Chris's comments. Almost like DJ Candy but less carefree and more snappy, she adds--]

Alex: Well you guys better get your facts together 'cause this determines whether or not our concert sucks or rocks.

Cindy: Yeah, so you boys better pay attention!

[Shadow and Chris exchange looks.]

Shadow: What?!

Chris: Us boys?

Shadow: Why just us boys?

[Cindy narrows her eyes at them.]

Cindy: You guys always-

[Amy hears the courtyard quiet down and sees teachers walking towards the podium and says--]

Amy: Guys shhhh! Its about to start!

[Cindy glares at Shadow and Chris before looking away.]

Cindy: Hmph! (She crosses her arms)

[Shadow and Chris squint at Cindy.]
