4: The cave

Welcome back! Sorry it took forever but before I leave you alone, I have changed Anne's name to Rose sorry. I thought it suited more, everything else is the same though! Well......... Enjoy MRGJHRR15
I know what I have to do, these men might be agents but my dad is family who chose to be so for most of my life. I will take the car and hide out for a couple of days. My dad will get the message to run and we can meet up at the abandoned house down the road from our old house.

I climb through the middle into the front seat and go for the keys but they are missing. "WHAT oh no, my plan is ruined and i can't get out now, I have been in here too long" quick thinking I get under the wheel, just above the pedals and pull out the bit under the steering wheel, with a lot of force it  comes off. I don't really know what I'm doing but vaguely I remember something about the two red wires having the power to the car, so I pull out the red wires and am going to put them together when the car door opens and Spencer looks down at me very disappointed. I try to scramble over the passenger seat and run out the door but when I open it and start to run out agent Morgan is standing just far away enough not to get hit by the door. I have to think quickly, I can try run and risk us both being caught, but my dad might get away if I do, or we will both be caught... or I just give up and claim I was shocked, and be free but my dad will be taken away. Even if we get caught we will be together, this way he has a chance of freedom too.

I start to bolt sideways away from the beach, car and Agent Morgan, but he is too quick and leaps forward grabbing me by my upper arms, I have to get away so I try to break free and crash about in a very wild manner almost screaming "let me go"

he actually replies struggled "I can't do that"

angry, flustered and determined "agent Morgan! let me go!"

he is definitely struggling but says "I will when you calm down... calm... Rose stop, just listen" I start to calm down but I am just preparing for when he loosens his grip, I will run. His grip starts to loosen but it's still too tight, so I just take a breath. "listen Rose , I know this is hard for you and it's all a huge shock but you need to calm down and listen to me, OK? 

I stop and realize that there is no way I'm getting away, I'm still all worked up and on edge but I stop and jerk away from agent Morgan, glare at him and say "what then? why must I stop and listen?"

Agent Morgan throws his hands up in surrender and calmly says "I am sorry that this is happening to you but we cannot let you or your dad go. You may refuse to believe he has done anything wrong but the truth is he has and, I know you study criminology because I saw a few books in your book shelf back at your house so you know what has to happen."

It's true I did, I dropped out after the second term though because it was too sad, depressing and graphic, but arresting someone is one of the first things I learnt before quitting. I do know what must happen. My only family must be taken away from me and I will most likely be put into a group home because no-one wants a 17 year old who will leave in less than a year. looking to agent Morgan and realizing if I don't agree to co-operate we won't ever get to arrest him because if I won't let him leave, and my dad can get away! I also know that I have morals and to let a criminal go, even family is wrong, he is sick in the head and will only ruin more lives, he must be caught... I'm just scared of losing the closest thing I have to real family, but I have friends, they are family enough. "Okay agent Morgan, I am willing to co-operate, if you do something for me." Smiling slyly now, I turn to Spencer and back to agent Morgan saying "When all this calms down I want you to appear in court to back me up, so I can become a legal adult, no point in going into some crappy home for such a short time, where we basically look after ourselves any way. So I want to be a legal adult, agree and I'll co-operate. Do you agree?"

I stretch my arm out for him to shake, he gives me a slightly confused stare, more as though he is thinking. But slowly he reaches for my hand and gives it a very firm shake "Okay you have yourself a deal Rose, how about we go in the cave now?" he nods slowly as he says that.

As we enter the cave it gives me a really bad feeling but I keep going this time, I have no way out and I do know that this needs to be done, a criminal is just getting caught, they are just doing their job and the right thing. I hear a noise from behind me so I turn around and as I do agent Morgan and Spencer keep going, unaware I have stopped, leaving me alone. "aaahhmmmm" Suddenly a large, familiar hand reaches out in front of me and grabs me round the waist, covering my mouth.

Then as he talks I am certain of who it is, he says lovingly but so fake "darling, what are you doing here? it is unsafe... shh, I can help you but you must come with me silently, no one can know we are here" then he drags me away from the light, deeper in to the cave.

I claw at his hand and manage to get free, then I can't help but ask him "daddy, why are you here? why are doing this? Please let me go home, I'm scared daddy"
I can tell that he has moved his face close to my ear because I can feel his breath breathing rapidly on my ear, he whispers to me "I'm sorry but I knew the minute you came in here with the agents that I knocked out, I have no daughter" his words feel like he is spitting on me. He clamps his hand back on my mouth and continues to drag me away. Now I know I am doomed for sure.
