"This is so exciting!" As Andi spoke she flipped her chocolate colored hair over her shoulder. "I'm rooming with another beauty guru in this amazing hotel and my room is right next to yours and your surprise roommate and we finally made it to Vid Con and oh my God Bradley! We did it!" The tiny brunette leapt in the air, making everyone in the lobby of the hotel stare, it also made the tall boy with dark shaggy hair blush. He liked attention, but not this kind.
"Calm down Andi..." he muttered as he gripped her elbow and began to drag her towards the elevator, their bags in tow.
As soon as they stepped on the elevator Andi stopped being excited and started to get nervous. "What if my roommate is a weird person, or a lesbian...not that I have a problem with lesbians but I feel weird when they hit on me and shit."
Bradley just rolled his eyes; he was used to Andi's antics. They'd been friends since the first grade and they knew everything about each other. Andi knew about Bradley's man slut stage and Bradley knew about Andi's hatred of all things "nerd".
As soon as the elevator stopped the two cautiously approached their rooms. Bradley entered his, found that his roommate had dropped his stuff off and left and did the same before entering Andi's room with her.
Upon entering Andi's room their eyes fell upon a girl who was shorter than Andi, they never thought that was possible, the only person they'd ever met that was shorter than Andi and not two or more years younger was Audrey Parks. Though now that Andi thought about, the girl, who's back was still to Andi and Bradley, dressed a bit like Audrey too. She was wearing a white crop top with cartoon pink popsicle print, light wash distressed denim shorts, and brown sandals with silver skull studs on the straps. A baby yellow phone case peeked out of her back pocket with what appeared to be a giraffe sketched onto it. Earbuds were plugged in explaining why she hadn't heard them enter.
"Excuse me!" Bradley spoke louder than normal and the tiny brunette spun around and pulled her earbuds out simultaneously. She smiled when she saw them. It was Audrey. They'd never hung out much at school. She was one of those girls who managed to be in the top ten and stay super popular at the same time. She wasn't the queen bee or anything like that, she was just well known for being smart and nice.
Audrey seemed to recognize them almost immediately as she smiled quite brightly. They didn't hate each other, but Andi also didn't particularly like Audrey, she'd always worn way too much pink.
Andi then became acutely aware of how much black she was currently wearing. She had a black cropped tank top with a daisy flower crown on it. Inside the flower crown it said "I'd rather wear flowers in my hair than diamonds around my neck". She also had on daisy earrings, a daisy headband, dark wash high waist shorts with cuffs, black and white checkered slip on Vans, and finally a black quilted leather cross body bag. She also had a ring that had been given to her by a certain boy (Bradley) that was small and silver with a tiny heart on it.
"Wow, Andi Martin, I didn't know you were a beauty guru too!" Audrey actually sounded excited to see Andi, which confused her a little bit; she was also slightly taken aback by the fact that Audrey was surprised she was a beauty guru. Audrey seemed to realize how that sounded and immediately tried to correct herself, "Not that I didn't think you could be, you're probably great I just didn't know!" Andi heard Bradley let out a small laugh at Audrey's run-on sentence. That was when Audrey finally seemed to notice Bradley standing slightly behind Andi, she seemed to turn an unnatural shade of red and the smile dropped as her eyes ran over his body.
Bradley nudged Andi with his elbow and smirked, she rolled her eyes in response. He could be so smug sometimes.
"Is...is he your boyfriend Andi?" Audrey's words faltered and a smirk grew on Andi's lips as the one on Bradley's went away. She didn't know who he was! Then again, Andi and Audrey had classes together as they were both in the top ten, but Bradley while he was smart he simply didn't care.
