Andi adjusted her glasses (that were totally just for show) and pulled at her bunny rabbit sweater (a gift from her grandma). Her messy ponytail swung back and forth as she moved about excitedly in the design room. Audrey was sitting and sketching with one of the artists. Andi couldn't draw, but she was creative and as she blurted out ideas Audrey, or one of the other members of their team, captured them on paper. They had a rhythm. They had a method. Everything was great.

There was a trashcan filled to the brim with Starbucks and a room full of people who understood words like chiffon and taffeta and hated polyester as much as Andi did. It was like she had died and been sent to heaven.

The girls met up with Bradley and Karson for lunch at a cool local pizza shop. Sitting across the room were girls with MagCon merchandise that kept glaring at their table. Audrey was doing her best to ignore it. She was also doing her best to avoid the way Bradley kept "accidentally" bumping his knee into hers. She felt like she was going to spontaneously combust from anger (and sexual tension). Eventually though Audrey had had enough (of the stares, not the knee bumping) and threw her new (and very expensive) copy of Breakfast at Tiffany's on the table, narrowly missing the huge meat lovers pizza pie they were all sharing. She stood and marched over to the pre-teens across the dining room and adjusted her black and white polka dotted cardigan before clearing her throat. They all jumped about a mile off their seats when they turned and noticed Audrey standing there.

"Nice socks, slut." One of them coughed. She was wearing a shirt that said "Excuse me, but you're not Nash Grier."

Audrey smiled and tilted her head to the side, "Listen here you little tartlet, I'm not dating Nash Grier. Stop staring at me like I'm the spawn of Satan or I'll give you a reason to think I'm evil. Okay?"

Audrey, as a rule, isn't very intimidating. But standing there with her cardigan and wool shorts in knee high socks with a scowl on her face she looked very mature and intimidating to a bunch of twelve year old girls in homemade merchandise. So much so that they took her threat seriously and stopped staring at her. Of course now their parents were sending ugly looks at Audrey, but at least Audrey knew she deserved that. Shortly after she'd sat back down the group of pre-teens and angry parents left anyway.

As Andi and Audrey were getting ready to head back to Forever 21 Bradley held Audrey's coat out for her and as she slid her arms in he whispered in her ear, "What in the world did you say to those kids?"

Audrey tried not to let on how much their proximity affected her and turned around and patted Bradley's chest. "Just the truth. You know, that I'm madly in love with Mr. Grier and they need to get the Hell over it."

She made to move away but he grabbed her hand. "Ah...so you told them to fuck off?"

Audrey smirked and opened her mouth to retort when Andi called out, "Break it up lovebirds. There'll be time for foreplay later. Let's head back to headquarters Audrey. We've got work to do!"
