"A long time ago in a castle far, far away, there was a warrior. Alas, this warrior was no ordinary warrior; for this warrior had a special gift called the Sight. This gift enabled him to do three things: to look through the eyes of any animal he wanted, to see the past, present, and future, and to call upon the elements to help him. The lord of the castle always called upon this warrior to help him in battles. The lord, whose name was Himitsu, was a good fighter, but he was not as good as the warrior.

But this warrior was also strong. His mother gave the name Wakusei to her baby, and that baby turned into a warrior. Wakusei was walking along the castle corridor when he bumped into someone.

'"Oh, I'm sorry,"' Wakusei apologized.

"'That is alright. I was being clumsy,"' a familiar voice said.

It was the lord's daughter, Sainou. Wakusei was quite fond of Sainou and couldn't help but blush a little bit as he took in the sights of the maiden.

'"My father wanted to talk to you, Wakusei,'" Sainou said.

The warrior nodded his head briefly and walked to where the lord was resting".

"Was Sainou beautiful, Seishin?" Meiyo asked, interrupting the story.

"Stop interrupting, Meiyo," Taiyo scolded, cuffing his sister on the back of her head.

Meiyo cried out and rubbed her head. She turned to him and stuck her tongue out at her brother. Seishin laughed and put a gentle hand on Meiyo's head.

"Yes, Sainou was beautiful. Now, let's continue with the story".

"As soon as Wakusei entered the lord's room, he immediately sensed that something was wrong. The lord was slumped on his side, blood pouring from a wound in his head. A creature stood over the lord, its fangs glittering in the candlelight. Wakusei unsheathed his mighty sword and ran at the creature. The creature hissed and slithered out of the way, smashing into a wall in the process."

 "Suddenly, Wakusei heard a scream. He suddenly realizes that Sainou was just outside. Before Wakusei could do anything, the creature got hold of Sainou and slithered out of the castle. Wakusei realized that the creature was a great snake demon called Uugi. Wakusei ran outside, just in time to see Uugi slither away into the darkened forest. Wakusei then lifted his hands to the sky, calling upon the Sight to help him.

'"In the name of the power within me, I call upon the Sight to call upon the element of snow!"' Wakusei shouted.

Suddenly, the wind started to howl as dark clouds rolled in. A snowflake fell, then another, then another and another, until a fierce winter storm started. Wakusei heard a loud and piercing howl and a feminine scream. Wakusei stopped the storm and ventured outside. But he did not have to venture out for long.

The snake had frozen solid and Sainou had fainted. Wakusei picked up Sainou and walked to the castle, where they lived happily ever after".

Seishin finished his story with a sigh. Looking around he saw that Meiyo, Araile, and Shinrai had fallen asleep, their backs leaning against each others. Taiyo got up and picked up his sister, causing Meiyo to grunt, but continued to sleep. Araile's eyes twitched open as Kazoku opened the door for them.

"Where are they going?" Araile asked sleepily as she rubbed her eye and sat up.

"They have always slept outside," Seishin answered as Kazoku closed the door after them.

"Now, time to get some sleep," Seishin said to the young girl.

Araile nodded and laid back on her side, her back pressed against Shinrai's back. She curled her knees to her chest while staring at the wall. A frown spread across her lips as she blinked slowly, drowsiness making them heavy. Why couldn't she remember anything before waking up here in this place? Where did she come from? Was she cared for there? Did whoever take care of her all these years care for her now?

Were they looking for her?

A sigh forced itself out of the girl as her eyes drifted shut, and she soon fell asleep. One day she'd get answers.

Seishin sighed, rubbing a hand through his hair as he watched the children fall asleep.

"You did a good job telling the story, Seishin," Kazoku said softly, and Seishin nodded his thanks.

"I will be back. We are low on firewood," he said, and moved quietly towards the door.

Opening the door, he paused to look back at the two slumbering children. Seeing that they were still asleep, Seishin quietly closed the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the shadows, a large smirk pulled at the male figure's lips. Who knew that a couple of children were so easy to control? A cackle forced its way out of his mouth as his brain began spewing ideas on different ways he could turn the children's minds against humans.
So many ways, so little time. If it was up to him, the figure would have each human nailed to a board and have their limbs removed slowly, one by one. They would suffer immense amounts of pain and torture, and his hands would be bathed in their blood. A thrill went through his spine at just the thought of the copious amounts of blood and screams of torture he would hear.
He threw back his head and let out a loud laugh. He couldn't wait.
Not only had he removed all the memories of the children, but he had also at the same time inputted a way of controlling them. Once he uttered the special word and hand sign, his precious demon army would begin the killing spree on those filthy humans. A small voice in his mind told him to just unleash them on the humans now, but he pushed the voice away.
No, not yet. It was too soon and they were not ready. They weren't strong enough. It would take each child some time before they were in top shape.
