A/N: I'm pretty sure I perfected the cast for Tori's family. Tori, Finn, Theo, and even Parker have blue eyes. Parker is played by Henry Cavill. He's Superman. Here's an update and I hope you're not mad at me for waiting so long.
Chapter Fourteen
Saturday.
Every Saturday has been hell for me and now I was late for detention. I knew I was going to have to stay even longer today because of it. I'm rolling my eyes just thinking about it.
After learning that Ben is Nikolina's son, various questions roamed through my mind. How did he have kids? Why doesn't he remember any of it? More and more just question after question.
Nikolina didn't want to hear any of it but made sure that he was safe and let him stay in another guest bedroom at our house. We had like four empty rooms left. It didn't look that big on the outside but it was very spacious inside.
I step into the school, hiding my phone into my bra and ran down the empty hallway. Only some teachers, detention kids, parent conferences, or tutoring was going on. I didn't have any breakfast since I woke up late and detention starts at seven thirty. It was eight.
Right as I entered into the classroom, August trailed behind me with his hoodie up so I wasn't able to see his face well.
"Late as always August. And his partner in crime, Tori! How nice of you two to join us!" The teacher said with sarcasm. "Now that I have wasted my time waiting for the two of you, everyone will write an essay about your disgraceful behavior while I go get my nails down and watch Desperate Housewives." Then she walked out the room, not without brushing shoulders with me rudely.
I look back at everyone else to them glaring at August and I.
A kid with a green Mohawk, a stuck up cheerleader, and some druggies. This should be fun.
I walk to the the back of the classroom and take a seat.
"First Aaron now August...I'm not surprised." The dark brunette I recognize as Kathy was filing her nails but unaffected by her comment, I just took my phone out of my bra and played some games.
August however was sitting next to me, bouncing his leg up and down in nervousness like he always does but he turns around to face Kathy. I still couldn't see his face so I wondered what he was going to say to her.
Her eyes met his brown ones and suddenly she turns pale and begins to choke on air like she couldn't breathe. I look confusingly back at August but I put two and two together and my eyes widened.
Everyone in the room watched Kathy in silence not even moving to help her. Probably because she was a bitch who needed to shut her mouth because all she said was shit. No one liked her and they enjoyed watching her suffer. But I didn't.
"August. Stop." I said to him. His eyes flickers to me and Kathy scratches at her throat and breathes normally.
He mumbles something I couldn't hear but he huffs and crossed his arms to turn back forward in his chair and stare at the wall. I roll my eyes and continue on my phone.
About two hours later, the druggies ditched to smoke outside. I see them outside the window laughing at nothing. I wanted to be like them right now and just enjoy myself. But that couldn't possibly happen.
I had already finished my essay I scribbled down like twenty minutes ago and my phone died. I look at August and he was snoring quietly. I had never actually seen him sleep before. But it reminded me of when we fell asleep next to each other. Kathy was popping her gum loudly and writing her essay for the past hour with only a sentence on it.
