Chapter ThreeThe party got a little too out of control so Finn and I left. Also giving Ben a ride home after he begged and apologized a million times. He was drunk and couldn't drive his own car. But after using all my tickets, I wanted to let him walk home and get arrested for underage drinking. But Finn always has to be nice.
Everyone had gone home either drunk or high. And let me just say it wasn't easy bringing a drunk and high brother home. Including Ben, it was not fun. He threw up in my car so it smelt the entire ride home after dropping him off home. Our parents are never home that late and I only see my dad like once a week now but I found my mom home.
Before I went to bed, my mom asking about the mark Aaron left on me. I explained to her I was too high to remember getting a "tattoo". Still she gave me a talk about how I should not make decisions without thinking it through first.
In bed, all I could think about was the encounter with Aaron. The mark on my wrist would sometimes fade.
I took my car to school today. It had a faint smell of throw up, which I thought I got rid of. And I did not want to hear the complaints of Finn's hangover.
"Hey! Sorry I couldn't keep track of you yesterday. I saw you leave with Aaron though." Mina said as she held her textbooks and stood next to my locker. She was referring when he took me behind the building.
I shrugged. "How many times do we have to tell you? Stay away. Whenever you see his face alarms should be going off in your head. Alert! Danger! Caution! Warning!" She shouted.
I gave her a bewildered look. I lightly smile.
"Are you high?" I looked into her eyes as she began giggling.
"No of course not!" She looked at me confused.
"What were we talking about again?" I laughed at her and grabbed her hand to drag her to class. The bell rang and I sat next to her. To make her face look less pale, I tossed her hood over her head, hoping no one would notice.
Why is she stoned in the morning?
After the bell rings, I take notes as class starts and then I feel something hit me in the back of my head.
I picked up the crumbled piece of paper after making contact with Aaron-who was giving me an angry look.
"What happened to Mina?" It read.
I shrugged and turned around. Obviously, I didn't know what the hell happened to her.
After class, I grabbed my bag and noticed Maia and August were arguing.
"Get your head out of your pompous ass and give me back my damn phone." She hissed at him. She jumped and tried to reach for the electronic August was holding up in the air.
"This is my precious." He tried to whisper lousy but failed and then caressed the phone.
"What the hell is going on with you?!" She trailed off. She looked in the classroom I was in but I quickly looked away.
I helped Mina up since she was sleeping and basically pulled her out the room.
"Are we going to fly? I want to fly like never before!" She giggled. Mina spread her arms out and jumped into the air. She then collapsed in the floor which looked painful.
"Ooh I wanna fly too!" I hear August say. Maia looks at the both of them confused just like me. What's going on? This is way past getting high.
Mina is then picked up by Ben who appeared in thin air and dragged her down the hallway.
