As if he was jump started, Aaron awoken with a gasp and reached for the first thing he can get his hands on. Eyes wide, his hands met with hair. A girl's hair. His supposed to be mate but not due to immorality, it was Mina. She was lied down on her back with dried blood covering her. He smelled it. And it reeked. His nose scrunched up. He smelt his blood, her blood, and Finn's. However Finn's body was on other side of whatever he was in.
He looked around. It was...a cell. Aaron looked down at his wrists and ankles. Chains. Of course. Poisoned chains. Much stronger than poison he's been dealt with before.
The chains rattled as he struggle to stand up. But he only fell onto his knees with a cry out in pain.
He was first to wake. He was stronger. However, none of them were going anywhere soon. He was weak. He had no idea how long he's been in the cell but it seemed like time has passed dramatically.
Aaron felt something different about him. He knew it was because of August or Tori. The mark on his neck was glowing and his eyes were silver but he didn't know that. And he also didn't know that Tori had gained more strength and that was why he felt better. He was draining out of her. Little by little and he didn't even know it.
Aaron snapped out of it, his eyes returning back to it's dark brown. His hands held onto a cell bar. He pulled away as it sizzled from the contact with his skin.
"Well well well. Look who's awake." Mason walked in with a stupid smirk on his face. The arrow on his wrist was fading for some reason. Maybe because Parker died. There was another Blood Hunter out there somewhere and he had to find him and activate himself.
"Let us Go!" Aaron ran towards the bars but was only pulled back by the chains.
"Relax and get comfortable for I have no reason to let you out anytime soon until I find my brother." Mason hissed. Aaron glared at him. Finn and Mina were not even conscious. The closest thing to 'alive' was their soft breathing.
Supernaturals can't die. Only if the moon goddess allowed them to survive. And she did. She still needed them.
"I will kill you!" Aaron screamed, spit flying from his mouth.
Mason chuckled. "Maybe." He shrugged. "But not before I get what I want. And you're gonna help me." And Aaron only rolled his eyes.
On the other hand, August was in a different situation. He woke up as well. Barely. He woke in a warm bed with a girl nursing him back to health. She fed him, gave him medicine, and calmed down the fever he had for weeks.
The one problem of being mated is that you feel the pain or strength from you mates if you choose to feel it. He had no choice. All he could think about was Tori or if his brother was alright. Sometimes he would mutter Tori's name in his endless slumber.
The girl wondered what he went on about. Finding a strange boy collapsing on your doorstep isn't something you see everyday. Not even feeling threatened, she helped him up and tried to make him better. But she would barely even get him to walk until a month later. August was infected. Didn't know what, but the moon goddess knew why. And she blamed mother nature for AGAIN messing with her plans.
Sweat dripped down his forehead and the girl patted it away with a moist cloth. "Tori." He repeated.
Ben, Maia, Nikolina, Theo, Lila, Kathy, and Isabelle crashed into a town. They never stopped looking for their friends. Kathy was confused as ever and Ben only filled her in with as little as information as possible so she wouldn't freak out. Her family was slaughtered in front of her because she wouldn't shut up. Theo distanced himself and the old routine of crying every night like he did for Lana resurfaced. And Lila was dreading her pregnancy. Nikolina was worried and Maia was scared. Ben was curious and confused. He was trying to become what he was destined to be.
Tyler stood in front of the mirror in one of the pack house bathrooms. He kept it from Kyle and Tori but he was changing. Not changing clothes or anything of that sort. He, himself, was changing. Developing into someone else...something else. He didn't know what and it scared him. Yeah, he looked different.
But this was on a different level. He felt multiple things going on inside of him. His eyes would flash a little from time to time and he even felt lightheaded at times. It was something Tori did to him. He was sure of it. He didn't want anyone to worry about his baggage, though. Enough has already happened to him.
The arrow on the inside on his wrist would disappear sometimes. He was sure that Tori knew about it too. But she kept her mouth shut. But whenever it did appear again, he wanted to kill everyone around him. That's why he was hiding in the bathroom at the moment. His fingers held onto the sink bowl tightly. So tight his fingers turned white. Tyler looked up in the mirror again and his eyes flashed gold. The arrow was gone again. He sighed in relief. It was a pattern.
There was a different story as well.
When he was around Isabelle, something bubbled up inside him as soon as she laid eyes on him. He knew she felt it too. She wasn't able to speak much but her actions were enough. Tyler was disgusted with himself for feeling this way toward Isabelle. Why? She's only a little girl.
There was no way he was daydreaming. This was the real thing. The aura she had around herself. He saw her aura. A rose color dust surrounding her when his eyes watched her. She even smelled like flowers.
A few tears slipped his eyes and he wiped them quickly. "Why? Why me?"
The moon goddess knew exactly why. He was the first supernatural mate for Isabelle. Besides August, Tori, Nikolina, and Aaron. They were untouchable.
