"I know you", three words that indicates someone recognition of you, it could be a good or bad thing.

"I'm in your H.A class, not that you seem to notice though, you're so reserved and closed off, oblivious to everyone like you're too caught up in everything for someone to get your attention, I'm Alice by the way, it's okay if you don't remember."

"I see the way he looks at you and is so adamant in his pursuit, don't give me that look Aimee, you know it's professor Van Houston I'm talking about, it's okay though, he's asked so many questions that I've grown accustomed to your name, but I can tell you don't like the attention, knowing that everyone witnesses everything that's going on between you two, he thinks we don't notice, but we do. I remember feeling something like that once, obviously not with my professor but some one close to me, he was a few years older than me probably four, about the same age difference with you and Arden. I was so in love it was crazy, but as time passed it felt like we were drifting, I never got to see him that often, but when I did I held on to every once of him, cherished every memory we had together, but obviously after a while I wasn't good enough, he got bored and he left me. I felt so broken, the person I invested all of my time and emotions left me. Some how it still feels like it's my fault, but then I think and realized that I was never the problem, he was, he never really wanted to commit and I as foolish to think that he might, he never did. It left me broken in shambles, so be wise Aimee and cautious because the pain isn't easy, first love hurts beyond compare, especially when you've given your all"

Aimee looked at Alice and wondered what her situation would be like, she wasn't even in love but she had already given her all, what position does that put her in, should she confront him, make him understand that this is serious, suddenly, her feet started moving, she knew where they were taking her, she just had to get there as fast as possible, before her mind forgot what it had to say.

She was so close, the door was right there, all there was left to do was to give it a push and so she did. Each step she took, got her closer to him, there he stood in the empty classroom waiting for her, standing still so that he can listen carefully to what she has to say, because this has become serious, this is no longer the pursuit of loosing what innocence she had, this was reclaiming what she had lost to him, it wasn't scientifically possible, but mentally it would ease her pain.

And so she began, " You left me last night and somehow at the time I was okay with it because you're always cool and collected, but then after your class this morning I just froze and someone opened my eyes to what was really happening before me, God!!! I can't believe I did it, the worst part is, you let me, no, you don't give me that look, I'm not trying to play the blame game, but you left me!!!!  When I needed someone, you know I called my mother and for a minute I contemplated going home, but I didn't, because I want to be strong and not some sad little girl who gets emotional when her pathetic professor tempts her", she huffs out, breathless, she looks into his face and he looks as shocked as ever but he quickly regains himself, however, before he says anything, she interjects,

"Before you start, I won't lie, I liked it, it was very exhilarating and it makes me regret it a little less," she finally finishes.

Arden is fuming by this point, how dare she, the act took both of their decisions and it pained him a little inside to hear that she had regretted giving him her virginity.

"Now you listen to me, Miss Williams, I'll admit I'm peeved that you approached me in such an aggressive way, however, this is as much of your fault as it is I, and I know you don't wish to play the blame game, but as I do recall you were somewhat sober and very aware of what you were doing, hell! you weren't complaining when you were screaming my name, you damned well knew what you were doing and if you wish to bring this little arrangement that we have to an end, its fine by me, but this here will be the last time, I'm so sorry that I caused so much pain towards you, now I'd like you to leave, it's quite inappropriate for a teacher to be alone with his student, I'll see you in the next class, the door is there," Arden finished as he turned away and continued marking his papers.

Aimee stood there for a minute but soon left. It was what she wanted, but somehow it hurt more than she had expected, It feels just as bad as Alice explained.
