Chapter 12--- Unforeseen Proposal

Elaira was looking at children playing with Flynn sa di kalayuan. Naglalakad kasi sya para puntahan si Akasa when she suddenly saw that awesome view. Nothing attracts her but man playing with kids. Napangiti sya. At least may soft side din pala ito.

"You like him." said Akasa na ikinagulat nya dahil nandoon na pala ito.

"Ha? O..ofcoarse not! Haayy at least narealzie nyo din na wala tlga kaming relasyon."

"Hahaha ofcoarse we know that. Pero bagay na bagay kayo sa isa't isa. And you are attracted to her. And he is attracted to you as well."

"Pano mo nman nasabi yan?"

"The way you look at him... and the way he looks at you."

Kumunot ang noo ni Elaira. "You just saw him today when he wokes up. How come you say that he's looking at me."

"Dear, in case you didn't notice but right now he's looking at you." nakangiti nitong sabi sa kanya.

Nagulat sya at automatic na tiningnan nya ito pero agad nitong binawi ang tingin sa kanya.

"You're blusing..." pagbibiro sa kanya ni Akasa.

"No... rosy cheeks lang talaga ko noh. Tara na nga.. saan ba tayo pupunta eh umuulan ng malakas."

Agad lumawak ang ngiti ni Akasa. You're good at bows and arrows right? I want you to check this out!" excited na wika ni Akasa atsaka hinila na sya nito paalis sa lugar na iyon. Hindi naman na nila napansin ang paghabol ni Flynn ng tingin sa kanila.

Pagdating nila sa lugar ay hindi maiwasang hindi mamangha ni Elaira. There's a big area for practice sa mga taong mahiling mamana. This is a good place to start learning to use the weapon.

"This place is awesome!"

"This is an abandoned one." malungkot na wika nito. Agad naman nagtaka si Elaira. The place doesn't look like it was abandoned.

"Why? It doesn't look like abandoned to me."

Isang pilit na ngiti ang agad sumalubong kay Elaira. She knows that Akasa is just trying to smile.

"After the Tree of Life died many of the fighters here loses their ability to fight. We lose our magic Elaira. Now all of us here doesn't know how to use magic."

Natulala si Elaira. She can't believe it. NAririnig lamang nya na sa ibang lugar nawawala na ang paggamit ng magic pero dito lamang nya nalaman na totoo pala tlga iyon. The Tree of Life death has a great impact on these fairies.

"I'm s..sorry... I didn't know..."

"It's okay... even though it hurts. We are like crippled fairies unable to do anything. That's why almost everyday we are cleaning this area to remind us that one day when all of this end we will be able to use our abilities again."

Elaira holds Akasa's hand. "You should never lose that. You should not abandon hope even if that's the only thing you've got."

A tear fell down on Akasa's cheeks. "Thank you..."

Umiling si Elaira. "No... I should thank you. You guys reminds me the one thing I needed most right now."

"What is it?"

"A reminder. Hope. Ngayon ko lamang narealize that I'm losing it. Pagdating ko dito nagtataka ako on how you guys still manage to smile despite eveything. But I know the reason why... even if you all lose your ability,you guys still have your greatest magic at your heart and that is hope."

Pinahid ni Akasa ang sariling luha. "Can I request something. If that's okay with you."

"Sure! Anything."
