Chapter 14---Hope

"So what do we got here..." said Lester smiling as he's carefully wiping the tip of his sword. And he even smiled more ng makita kung gaano kamiserable at sugatan ang bagong bihag nya. "I guess I don't need to torture you like that again for you to obey me." 

"Just k..kill m..ee.." 

"Oh no! i would never do that to a future friend like you. So now are you ready to tell me... what I must do in my little dilemma?" askled Lester while slowly lifting the poor man's chin using the tip of his sword. 

"K..kill me.." 

Lester holds his breath sa pagtitimpi sa galit. He is already loosing patience in this man. Since the Tree of Life died he began hunting this man dahil alam nya na ito lamang ang makakapagsabi sa kanya on how to control the Tree of Death. But until now he still refuses to speak. 

"Locked him on the prison bars until he begs for food do not feed him!!" galit na an Lester. 

Agad namang nagsunudan ang mga tauhan nya. 

"You cannot force him to speak." said the woman now entering on his doorsteps. Bawat hakbang ng takong nito ay nageecho sa buong lugar. 

Humarap si Lester sa pinaggalingan ng boses. And a beauty that transcends a lifetime embrace his eyes. The woman is Quintessia Nox the Dragon tamer. She is the one who helped him tamed Synn. Her power is truly his advantage. She can tame any wild beast and animal. But she failed to tame the Tree of Death since it was not an animal. 

The red velvet suit of this woman curves her perfectly shape body. Her red brown hair with large curls are designed to purposely make her a woman that is difficult to resist. Idagdag pa ang rose red nitong labi and a pointed nose. She is really a woman with beauty and darkness. 

"Sure I can. I just need a thing that can make him speak." 

"Dylan Distantblade... the one that can control time. Hmmmm up until now I'm wondering why he is not using his powers to escape in this prison." 

Sa sinabing iyon ni Quintessia ay tila noon lamang na realize ni Lester na may point ito. bakit nga ba hindi tumatakas si Dylan kahit na kayang kaya naman nitong tumakas doon. He can bend time at his will. So why? What is his reason. Hmmm or the better question is what does he know. 

"I will make him speak... and right now I have a better idea for him to obey me." said Lester at saka dire-diretsong naglakad papunta sa kung saan nakakulong si Dylan.

Pilit na nagwawala ang halimaw sa pagkakagapos ni Earl subalit hindi nito iyon magawa. 

"Ahhh.. what are we going to do with that monster? He can't even speak so how are we going to make it confess?" asked Aria habang pinagmamasdana ng halimaw na naglalaway pa at masama ang tingin sa katabi nya. The dragon's child expression are not scared but confused. 

Nagwala pa ng bonggang bongga ang halimaw at tumigil lamang iyon when Chantele slit its throat. 

"Chantele..." nasabi n lamang ni Earl while looking at Chantele's dark expression in her cute face. 

"Anyone got a problem with that?" asked Chantele at ng walang sumagot sa kanila ay dire-diretso itong naglakad palayo. 

Aria runs her fingers to her brown hair. "Ugh! I can't take this anymore. i'll gonna go talk to her!" 

Susundan na sana ni Aria si Chantele but Zach gently holds her elbow to stop her. She gave him a questioning look. 

"Maybe I should do that." said Zach saka tahimik lamang na sinundan si Chantele.
