Midorima Shintarou x Reader | Go Out

There... stood you and the tsundere megane in an empty classroom of Shutoku... Silently gazing into each other's eyes.

And then, you open your mouth and speak up...

"Go out with me."

...

Midorima's eyes went wide and his face turned red in within a second, "W-What? What are you saying--nanodayo!? Don't say such nonsense all of sudden--nodayo!"

You just blinked and stare at him, waiting for him to answer.

On the other side of the room, a certain ravenette is muffling his laughter, a bit of tears coming out of his eyes.

After awhile of Midorima Shintarou flustering and answering with something you're not interested in, he calmed down.

You cleared your throat, "Let me repeat my question."

"I want you to go out with me."

Midorima gulped, red still tainting his cheek as he thought, 'Is that even a question?'

"What makes you say that, [L/N]?" The grass-head asked, pushing his megane back into the bridge of his nose.

"What, you ask?" You asked back. "Because I like you, obviously. What else?"

He sighed, "Today's Oha-Asa predicted that [Zodiac Name] will do something unpredictable around Cancer. I never thought that you... would do this."

"Midorima, I'm actually still waiting for your answer." You said straight-forwardly, "Don't change the subject."

Midorima sighed at your straight-forward-ness and push his glasses into the bridge of his nose again with his taped fingers.

"I like you, so go out with me." You confessed your love for the third time.

Midorima stares into your [E/C] eyes and you stare back into his emerald ones.

"I..."

"I l-like you too...nanodayo..."

A smile slowly form itself on your face, "I didn't know you actually have feelings for me, Midorima."

"U-Uruusainodayo." He blushed, looking away.

"So Takao has been right.." You muttered, looking away too. Midorima wasn't meant to heard that but, "Takao?"

But whatever, he heard it anyway. "He told me to confess to you."

"H-He did!?"

You nodded, "He told me how to do it. He said, cutely and innocently blush and confess everything I feel when I'm around you then say 'Go out with me'. Then you would return my feelings and say, 'I-I like you too--nanodayo.' And then we would start going out and live happily ever after."

"If it turns out like this I should've told Takao sooner."

Midorima feels like pushing his best friend into the ocean. He sighed.

"Wait, [Y/N], you never confess everything you feel when you're around me. Well, it's not that I want you to, I'm only curious."

"Oh yeah..." You just remembered. "Midorima, you make my Kokoro goes doki-doki, your tsundere personality makes me wanna just throw a carrot in your face and kiss you, when you laugh it warms my kokoro and I don't wanna see you with other woman cuz the last time I saw it, I almost push that girl off the stairs."

That somehow, send chills down Midorima's spine. Those words don't suit you at all.. (Maybe Takao told you to say it) and it was just creepy '-'

"Oh, and can I hug you?" You asked.

"Huh?" Midorima blushed, "W-Well... I don't really mind.."

You smile and walk towards him.

The ravenette who has been listening to everything, peaked over the opened door of the classroom with his phone in his hand.

As soon as you're in front of him, you wrap your arms around him and hug him, you bury your face on his chest (cuz he's way taller than you), inhaling his scent. Midorima hesitates but eventually wraps his arms around you too. At the exact moment it happened, Takao took a picture and decide to tease his tsundere carrot buddy to death later.

"Can I call you Shintarou?" You asked.

He nodded, "T-Then, I'll call you [F/N]."

"Yeah, I don't mind." You smiled again, even though you still have your poker face on.

"Let's go out on a date, Shintarou." You said.

"H-How 'bout on Saturday?"

"Sure." You nodded, "It's been awhile since we last went out with each other."

"Yeah, you're right." Midorima replied, as he remember that awkward day he spent with you. Takao invited Midorima and you to hang out together, then he was also the one who couldn't come cuz he caught a cold. You still don't know if he was actually sick or he just wanted to trap his Shin-chan in an awkward situation. But you were actually really glad he didn't come ^^

"Let's go, you still have a basketball practice, right?"

Megane-kun nodded. Takao heard that and he secretly runs away but unfortunately bumped into something.

"Itte!!" He exclaimed as he fell on his ass.

"Takao?" Midorima asked as he heard that familiar voice.

"Takao, what are you doing here? The practice has started, geez. And where's Midorima? You guys are not skipping practice, are you? Just because you're good, doesn't mean you can skip practive, y'know!" Miyaji said, glaring at Takao.

Midorima stepped out of the classroom and you're just right behind him.

"T-Takao!? What are you doing here--nanodayo!?" Midorima shouted.

"Yo, Shin-chan!" Takao grinned.

"Oh, there's [L/N] here too." Miyaji said as soon as he spotted you.

You nodded at his direction.

Miyaji sighed, "I don't wanna know what happened between you first years. Just come to the practice, Midorima, Takao." He said as he left.

"Takao, have you been listening?" Midorima asked.

"Yeah! It was great, Shin-chan! Even tho I expected [F/N] to be cuter in doing that. 'W-What? What are you saying--nanodayo!? Don't say such nonsense all of sudden--nodayo!'" Takao repeats Midorima's words with his improved Midorima's voice then burst out laughing.

"TAKAO...!"

"Good that you've been listening, Takao. That saves me the trouble of telling you." You said.

"[F/N]!" Midorima exclaimed.

"Kyaa~ Shin-chan calling [F/N] by her first name already~ hahahaha!" Takao teased.

"Uruusainodayo!" Shin-chan shouted.

"Shintarou, stop being so noisy."

"Who's noisy!?"

"Haha! Even your newly-found girlfriend mocked you!"

"I'm not mocking him. He's just noisy."

"But Shin-chan's offended!"

"Ugh! I'm surrounded by morons!"
