It was after school on friday, the day before Shepherds fair, when Alex had got to his locker over the last couple of weeks back at school he had adjusted to the change in his environment, and the school supplied him with the password for the lock on his locker and embarrassingly he found out which one was his.

After he opened the lock he rummaged through the junk inside of his locker, when going through he noticed an out of place looking sheet of paper, out of because all the other sheets of paper were mostly scrunched up or ripped. This one had small creases on it from where the person who put it there would’ve tried to fit it through the small gaps on the top of the door. On the paper there was written words, the words exclaimed “Tomorrow night at Shepherd’s Fair around 6:30 when it’s dark, meet me by the tennis courts behind the woodworks classroom.”

Alex knew exactly who it was from, as much as he didn’t want to go but he decided he should anyway, he was planning on going to the fair that night anyway. After that he folded the note and stuck it in his pocket, before he stuck the weekends homework in his bag and headed off home.

Whenever Alex walked home he had nothing else to do but think and watch out for cars,  and ever since he arrived here he’s just done a whole lot of thinking. He didn’t play any ps3 anymore, hell he hadn’t even been on youtube since he got here. Alex decided that when he got home he would check out his channel see what’s changed.

Alex crossed the road, looking quickly for cars, of course nothing. There weren’t many people where he lived anymore, Alex remembered the reason they moved was because of a lack of money. He supposed that everyone left because of the same reason. Alex pressed on down his street.

When arriving home he (like he told himself) went onto his computer, logging into skype just in case, then proceeding to his youtube channel. His channel had a tiny 29 subscribers, nothing compared to his channel when he left, over 1000% more subs. 301 subs exactly. Alex keeps track of his subs, and he treats them nice. He treats everyone nice these days, compared to how he was 3 years ago. He never used to give a fuck about anything.

He went back to his skype application, first thing he noticed was a contact request from Skye, he decided to add her just because his list was kind of low, and he didn’t really talk to anyone anymore. He knows he needs to talk, or else he might forgot how. Next thing he did was he decided he would try again to get in contact with his “old” friends, well just one, Dominick.

If there was someone he could count on, it would be Dominick.
