The first thing he heard from multiple people around the school on his way to his locker, of course he just ignored them like the jackass he was, and kept walking, he’s had years of practice, he can ignore someone pretty easily, well unless they catch his eye of course. Almost at his locker he saw Jyi down by the distance, walking towards him, he already had his stuff for his first class. At his locker already Jyi had finally go to him, “Hey Alex are the rumors true? are you actually going out with skye?”
Anyone else he would’ve just ignored but when it comes to Jyi, he was his best friend, and theres no way he could just leave him hanging.
Alex raised turned his head to Jyi, “Haha yeah, yup it’s all true man”
Jyi’s geeky smile revealed, and you can see the happiness in his squinted eyes, at least some of his happyness, parts of his face was covered by his, dark blonde hair.
“Good job Homie! C’mon, quickly you gotta hurry up and get to homeroom.”
Alex wasn’t sure what Jyi’s deal was, he had a permanent smile imprinted on his face, who knows what goes on in Jyi’s head.
Finally reaching homeroom, not long before getting in the door, he received a surprise hug from behind, who else but Skye? Alex never minded getting a hug.
“Hey Alex, come sit over here with me and my friends.”
Alex figured why not, “Hey Jyi, do you mind sitting with Sam, and Josh and all that? I’m going to sit here with Skye, and her friends is that ok?”
Jyi, paused and thought a sec before walking off, he still had that smile on his face, wasn’t as big but it was still there. Alex sat down.
Alex felt a little bit awkward sitting here, he hardly knew any of her friends, he knew of them but that was about it. Before long there were people coming up to them, all the guys like Brendan, Lachie, and Jayden, all the girls like Brielle, Maddy, and Claire, but there were a couple of people who didn’t really care too much, thank God.
Before long some of Alex’s more older friends called him over, “Hey Skye excuse me for a sec, i’m just going to go talk to Josh and Adrian.” Josh sat there as he approached, when getting close enough Josh reached out his hand for a fistbump, Alex of course payed it back with the connection of fists. “Great job Alex, haha. Oi Adrian, our young mans growing up”, Adrian turns to look at Alex, “Pretty good kid, haha, let’s just say i may or may not be jealous, probably not though” Alex knew Adrian was jealous, and Adrian knew Alex did too.
Before long Alex was back over with Skye, and her friends, Marsi, Caitlin, and Evie. Evie didn’t really like Alex too much, Caitlin was pretty neutral, and Marsi was pretty happy for Skye. There was a pretty widespread variety of opinionated people on the table.

First actual class of the day, how ironic, Art. The first subject he had after he lost his girlfriend, it’s also the first subject he has when he get’s one. Skye insisted that he should sit with her, and so he did, and he didn’t mind, he would rather sit when them than the other feather heads he’d normally sit with.
Ms. Penny walked in and pretty much said, just grab a pen, and draw something in you book for the next 100 minutes, i have some final reports to finish up. Of course most of the class didn’t listen to her anyway. People just doodle in their books no matter if she says so or not.
Alex just drew whatever he felt like in his book, of course he’d get the usual compliments about how good his drawing are, he’s been getting them since grade 4. He was also getting some special attention from Skye, she decided she’s get up real close to him, and practically hug him she whole 100 minutes. Still Alex didn’t mind.

End of the day, 2 days left of school, no homework, some more respect from his peers and a girl. Only thing he was missing though, was the girl he still loved the most, he wasn’t even sure how he ended up with Skye, but Skye was pretty hot though, he chuckled to himself a little.
But still he knew he had to get over Louise sometime, but it wasn’t that easy.
