Incomplete Love
Do you see me
Or do you see right
Through me
When I speak do you listen
Or do you ignore
The tears that glisten off my cheek
The shakiness when I speak
An echo is all I hear
In the emptiness of my heart
Blooming red roses was once our love
Withered and dying is what it's become
Reaching for sunlight
In hopes that it just might
Revive us back to one
But you see
Now we are two
We've grown
Far apart
I once loved you
Forever and always
With all of my heart
A one way street
Only my heart beats
I'm in love but no longer are you
No fairy tale ending
No sugary sweets
My fully beating heart
Has broken
It's incomplete.
