Beep beep! Beep beep!
"What the fuck!" I slammed my hands hopelessly on the maneuver. I've been waiting for the traffic to progress an hour now and I fucking hate the situation as it gets unhandled; it's very much hopeless wherein I was richly losing patience, I can't stay calm knowing I was fired up with something. I was so enraged at the moment in which no one, not even thinking about my girl can revive my furious heart.
The clogged freeway is my temper's primary enemy. At the moment, I love the idea of killing someone who invented this illogical phenomenon without thinking of leaving the solution.
My patience meter is blinking red, pricked with the careless trigger, will dangerously explode. My buddy on the side can tell; my mouth can't keep quiet just witnessing the hopeless queue.
He was glancing at me, smirking whenever I let out a sick phrase. "You never change hyung." He ridiculously remarked. "Hah." My tone criticized. When V opens his mouth, expect a stinging poison. "What part of my great life will I wish to change? It's almost perfect, I'm contented." I sided stealthily, returning the mock he casually threw at me. Sorry, I'm not the one to go down on him, considering I'm three years older than this monkey.
"Whatever floats in your boat hyung. I know you." His flawless instinct afloat. "Why? Don't you trust me?!" My eyes lingered at him since the driveway isn't moving. He rolled his eyes as he laughs, I don't get why he was laughing. "Keep rolling your eyes dude, you might find a brilliant idea at the back of your mind." I countered, my eyes back to the road because finally, we're turtle moving.
Wondering why we're this close? V was part of the gang since middle school, luckily I've been with him longer than I expected. I can even tell-- we must have gotten used to each other's presence that's why we're having tedious moments all the time. But we can't deny the fact that one can survive without one.
I met him in school because he was one of the bullied, as for me, I was part of the bully; hooligans exactly. That's the history of us being close friends. He knows everything about me, even the names of the girls I used to bang. So whatever V was thinking right now, part of it was right.
I looked sideways to check up on him. He looked so uneasy and weary after silencing him.
"Did that insult shut you up? Oh come on, you're not one to surrender to me." Boosting his lost appetite for arguing. "Not that hyung, I remembered my sister. Damn you for reminding me." He tsked, placing his index finger in his mouth, a sign that he was feeling uneasy.
I was smiling dummy at the back of my mind. Poor boy. You just passed by her awhile ago and yet you have no idea she was actually the lost branch in your family tree.
"Where did you get that scar?" I asked him. I can tell that I was calmly driving; relaxed and refreshed. "Birth mark." He commented, not looking at me but at the outside sceneries of my car's window. Just like what her sister does when she's in my car. Lovely, they're so alike. I just started to notice the similarities.
"Why?" He added. He looked down and scanned his phone. "Nothing. I thought you got it in that accident." Hah, I remembered the car accident back when we were in middle school. A long time ago, Mom learned to hate them because of B.I issues. Little she knew, I was the bad influence, especially to the Maknaes. But that car accident didn't happen because of me but Namjoon's stupidity.
Friday night, Namjoon invited us to go to the beach to celebrate his divorce with his Chinese girlfriend. Are you familiar with Chinese people's culture of arranged marriage? That's what happened to my poor hyung. *laughs, why am I not Chinese when I needed it the most to end my problem*
