"Oh my god," I whispered to myself.
"Looks like someone smoked a little to much weed," the boy raised his eyebrows at me.
"No I don't smoke weed, or anything," I confronted him.
"Here then," he said handing me the cigarette that he had in his mouth.
"I-I don't know," I shook my head.
"Just take it," he said shoving it into my hand. "If you don't like it, give it back to me."
I slowly took a puff of the cigarette, and let out a cough. It tasted disgusting.
"Yea smoking isn't for me," I said giving the boy back his cigarette.
He let out a small giggle, and extended his hand toward me,"The names Wil."
"Valerie," I replied, shaking his hand.
I looked around the room. And let out a small chuckle as I saw all the people that surrounded me. Eighties fashion man.
"So, what school do you go to?" Wil asked.
"Oh um, I'm homeschooled," I lied.
"Corey's here everybody. THE PARTY HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED," I heard someone yell. I looked in the direction of where it came from, and couldn't believe what I saw.
"Hello, earth to Valerie," Wil said, waving a hand in my face.
"Oh, sorry. I think I know that guy though," I said, still looking at the boy who yelled moments before.
"Oh, Daniel?" He asked looking in the direction my eyes were in.
"Daniel, as in Daniel Andrews?" I asked.
"Yep."
"Oh my god," I whispered again. I couldn't believe my dad was actually standing twenty feet away from me.
"How do you know him?" Wil asked.
"Oh-uh, well I actually don't really know him, I've just seen him around town, and stuff," I lied again, earning a nod from Wil.
I looked back at my dad, and then to his friend. Corey, was it? I'd be lying if I said he wasn't cute. I swear I new him from somewhere. I kept staring at him when our eyes met. I quickly looked away, and saw out of the corner of my eye he was headed my way.
"Who's the girl Wheaton?" He asked smiling. Wow he is H-O-T.
"Oh, uh this is Valerie, she just moved here from Wisconsin. Valerie this is-"
"Corey, Corey Haim," he said interrupting Wil. He extended his hand for me to shake.
"Haim, oh my god, as in The Lost Boys?" I asked, my eyes growing wide.
"Yea," he blushed, letting go of my hand.
"Valerie's homeschooled," Wil spoke.
"Oh," Corey nodded. "Yo, Daniel come over here," he yelled motioning his hand over to us.
"What's up," Daniel or my young yet old dad said.
"This is Valerie," Corey said.
When Daniels eyes met mine it's like something went off in him.
"Have we met before?" He asked cocking an eyebrow.
And because I couldn't be like, "Oh you know I'm your daughter from the future." I said, "No, I don't think so." And right after I said that the front door of the the house opened, and in she walked.
