Mia woke up to see Preston fast asleep next to her. She got up to shower but nearly tripped on Serena who was on the floor with two frat boys. She wasn't surprised. In the mirror fog a message was written.

Release me

How cliché. Spooky Halloween prank gone wrong probably. Then it clicked.

"Preston!" Mia screamed still in her towel. He slowly walked over to the bathroom. "Holy crap. Do you think?" He asked. "Angie," they said in unison. They hurriedly got dressed. "Let me make sure Haley knows I'm leaving. If I don't check out with head of CrestaΩ I get in trouble," Mia explained. "Haley? Haley Fritz? It's Mia Manson...I'm leaving to go to Dr. Seldon's," she shouted. "Maybe you could leave a note," Preston suggested. Mia left a post it on the fridge. They headed to Dr. Seldon's classroom. Right in front of the main education building was police tape, and a girl on the ground, holding a note.

Haley.

"Holy crap! Oh my gosh!" Mia shrieked. The head of CrestaΩ was dead in front of her. "What's going on?" Preston asked the officers. "None of your business dorm boy," they replied snobbish. "It's all of my business. She's the head of my girlfriend's sorority," he retorted. "Awe how cute. Now go away," the officer scowled. Preston felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around to see Dr. Seldon. "Police officers are jerks," he laughed. "Professor, can you tell us what happened?" Mia asked. "No one knows how she died...well I do. Angie Winthrope obviously. The note proves it all. Angie wanted release...she didn't get it. Haley Fritz had what Angie wanted. A future. So out of envy, Angie murdered the poor girl," he explained. "Dad, there's something you need to see," Preston said grabbing his arm to take him to CrestaΩ.

They walked to the bathroom. The message, along with Serena and her frat boys, was still there. "This explains so much," Dr. Seldon said. Then the message suddenly vanished. "What's going on?" Serena said waking up. "Haley died while you were on the ground all night," Mia said angrily. "I was only on the ground because Mr. Dorm Boy took the bed," she grinned. Dr. Seldon winked at his "son" and high fived him. "How'd that brat die anyway?" Serena asked. "I killed her," a sad, guilty voice said. They turned around to see a woman with chocolate brown hair and kind eyes. "Angie?" Mia gasped. "What have I become?" She weeped. Angie walked over to the bed and straightened it out to calm her nerves. "You need to stop killing people ghost girl," Serena rudely stated. "You don't think I've tried? I just get to angry and I can't control it. I can't stop. It's like a-" Mia cut her off. "An addiction?" Mia suggested. Angie nodded and continued to cry. "It's just not fair!" She wailed. "An addiction can be fixed," Preston told her. "But they have to feel my pain!" She yelled, waking up the frat boys, who left immediately. "Someone has to die tonight," she said, seriously. Then, Angie vanished, just like her message. "Release is all I ask for," her voice echoed. "What the heck was that?" An all too familiar voice asked. "Nothing Jesse," Preston replied annoyed. "It was an astral projection of Miss Winthrope. We must release her. Meet me at the library," Dr. Seldon ran out excited.

"You really don't have to come with us," Mia and Preston said in unison to Serena and Jesse. "Of course we do!" Jesse replied. The library was colder than usual. "I found the incantation," Dr. Seldon smiled. "Dude we're not witches and warlocks," Serena scowled. Preston was shocked that she and Jesse even believed the Angie Winthrope story they explained walking down. "This incantation can be said by anyone," Seldon replied. They joined hands and let him recite it.

Kutolewa nafsi kuvunjwa cha zamani kwa kuwa ni siku mpya

Nothing happened except for a warm breeze across the room. they looked at the corner to see Angie standing there. "Thank you," she waved and walked out.
