Chapter 19

*TWO WEEKS LATER*

I shot up from bed,

Peeled e covers off my leg, slid down the stair case, and ran outside. Makayle and McCarthy were staying with us in the guest bedroom.

I pushed the door open, and ran over to the mailbox. I didn't even care if I was still in my pajama shorts, a tank top and my fuzzy panda slippers. I opened the mailbox, and saw a clean white envelope with a large stamp with the letter 'Y' In yellow.

I yanked it out, and shut the door. I grabbed my phone and texted Kristine and Jeanie,

TO:Kristine and Jeanie,

We got our letters from Yale! Come over with yours and we' ll open together!

I hit send and screamed in excitement. The, I heard sets of footsteps coming towards me.

"Thanks for the wake up call,Ann." McCarthy said sarcastically. His blonde hair was messy.

Harry used to call me Ann. The tears were threatening to spill,but I swallowed them away.

I pushed the thought of him to the back of my mind.

"Sorry. I got my letter from Yale!" I squealed.

"I'll get Makayle and we'll open it!" He said, coming out of the room

"Wait until Kristine and Jeanie get here!" I yelled.

"Fine!" He huffed.

I ran to the kitchen and snapped off a banana from the stem.

My mom wasn't home yet, so Makayle,McCarthy and I are here to babysit Penny.

I ran back to my room, and took a quick shower. I put on my high waisted shorts and my black crop top.

"CLARAAAAA! Make us foooood!" Makayle shrieked

"UGHH finneeee!" I whined back

I took out the bacon, eggs, and pancake batter, and started to cook, then the door bell rang.

I saw Jeanie and Kristine at my doorstep. I pulled them inside, and continued to cook,

"We'll open our letters after we eat. Makayle and McCarthy want to be there for some reason." I shrugged

"Ok! As long as you feed me!" Jeanie said, smugly.

Fifteen minutes later, and dozens of pancakes,eggs, and bacons later, everyone is eating.

We were all eating, and making small talk. If Niall and Louis were here, they would be having a food fight. If Liam was here, he would be scolding, and if Zayn and Harry were here,they would be goofing off. STOP. I need to stop thinking of them,

I finished my food, and ran straight towards the counter where my envelope was sitting, I grabbed it and ran to the table. Kristine and Jeanie already had theirs in hand.

"Ok, we open it on one..."

"Two"

"Three"

I ripped open the envelope, and pulled out the paper.

I dotted my eyes and I grinned like an idiot. I got accepted!

I saw that the girls had the same expression.

I screamed out in excitement, and they did the same.

"WE GOT ACCEPTED!" We all chanted.

"Congratulations! Lets celebrate tonight! Clubbing!'' Makayle chirped.
