Chapter 23

CLARA ANN's POV

"What the heck, Harry!" A nasally voice shrieked.

"Uh, how did you get into my house?" I asked, cocking out an eyebrow.

"Some guy let me in. I heard Harry was here, so I came to see my boyfriend." She lingered on the word 'boyfriend'

I sent Harry a look, and he looked just as confused as me.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" I asked.

"His girlfriend, Gwen." She snapped

So, Harry played me. He kissed me, making me feel special, and he has a girlfriend.

HARRY's POV

The kiss was full of passion and love. Then, I heard a gasp from the front. I shot my head to that direction to find the girl i thought I would never have to see again, Gwen. It was just supposed to be a one night stand, you know, a rebound.

FLASHBACK

I was at the bar, chugging down beers. This random girl came up to me, and started to flutter her eyelashes.

"Hi I'm Gwen." She whispered in my ear.

"Harry" i muttered.

"So, how about you buy me a drink?" She asked huskily,

"Whatever." I mumbled, before throwing a five dollar bill at her.

Soon enough, I was drunk out of my mind, and I couldn't control myself. I grabbed that random girls bum, as she looked at me seductively. Then, she advanced towards me, shoving her tongue down my throat.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Uh.." I trailed off,scratching the back of my neck.

"I can't believe you, Harry!" Clara yelled, choking back the tears. She jumped off the counter, and pushed past Gwen, and ran straight to e bathroom.

"Clara, wait" I yelled, running to the bathroom.

CLARA ANN's POV

I pushed past Gwen and into the bathroom. I shut the door behind me, and slid my back down the door. My cheeks were wet with tears now, and I had my knees. Up to my chest. Three times, he's hurt me. Three.bloody.times.

I pushed myself off the floor, and opened the medicine cabinet. I moved through all the caps of pills and medicine, until finally, I found it.

My blade.

I haven't used this in a while, and I guess it's a good time to. I held the blade up to my skin, and pushed through. The cherry red blood oozed out of the opening. I cut three more times, until I washed off the blood on my arm, and put a new bandage on it.

Then, came a knock at the door.

"Clara, let me in." It wasn't Harry, it was Liam.

"Leave me alone." I growled.

"Please, I have Dani and El here with me." He said.

"Clara, please open up." Dani pleaded

"Clara, it's El." Eleanor announced.

I sighed a sighed defeat, and opened the door. I pulled my sleeve down, so they don't seethe bandages.

Danielle, and Eleanor came in. They embraced me Ina hug, as I cried into their shoulder. Liam rubbed my back.

"What did he do?" Eleanor asked.

"He led me on." I mumbled.

"How did he manage to do that?" Liam asked

"We sort of kissed, and then some Gwen girl came and claimed he was her boyfriend." I sobbed,

"Gwen? I don't know her." Liam said, scratching the back of his head.

"I do." Louis said, from the background. He was standing in the back.

"Who is he,Lou?" Liam asked.

"Harry's one night stand. He was ate bar, got drunk, and I guess he hooked up.

That word just kept replaying in my head. 'one night stand'

Another tear escaped my eye, as I tried to brush it off with my arm, until Danielle grabbed my arm. She rolled up my sleeve, and found my bandages.

She unpeeled them, and gasped. Eleanor took a look, and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Clara, why?" Eleanor asked.

"What happened?" Jeanie and Kristine asked. They saw that Danielle still had my arm in her hand, as they exchanged a glare.

"Again? You promised me" Jeanie choked.

"I had to." I whispered.

Janie and marched to he kitchen. Eleanor stood up, and walked back there.

"Harry! How dare you hurt my best friend?!" Jeanie screeched.

"I hurt her?! She's the one that left me!" He yelled back.

"Only because you cheated on her!" She shrieked.

Then, I heard a loud slapping sound.

"That's what you get for being such a low life jerk!" Eleanor yelled.

I got up, and walked over to the kitchen.

"Stop!" I yelled.

"Just... Stop." I whispered.

"Ann, why are you crying?" Makayle asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Ann, you alright?" McCarthy added.

"I guess." I mumbled.
