Chapter 26

CLARA ANN's POV

Everything was going fine. My mum is very much alive, and Keaton and I have gotten very close these past few weeks. I think he's going to ask the question soon, if you know what I mean. We've gone out a few times, kissed on the cheek, nothing too serious.

I was walking hand in hand with Penny, as we walked towards the ice cream shop with El and Dani. They stil haven't met Keaton, and once he asks me to be his girlfriend, I'll introduce them.

Penny? She's much happier now, and she's very comfortable with the boys and girlfriends. She even met Perrie and Little Mix. Turns out, she was a huge fan!

As for Harry and I, we've been talking like our love life never happened. That really kills me. To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm over him.mWhen I see him talking to other girls, my heart just feels a billion times heavier.

"Pen, what flavor do you want?" Eleanor asked.

"Mm...I want chocolate!" She cheered. I chuckled lowly.

I paid for all of our ice cream. We headed back to El's flat where all the boys were. We were celebrating the boys' new where we are tour. Little did they know,it was my birthday too. Only Eleanor,Dani, Perrie, Leigh,Jesy, jade, and Penny remembered my birthday. what really killed me was that Harry, my best friend, hasn't even acknowledged me today.

I walked into the flat, where the boys were lounging in the room.

"We brought ice cream!" I yelled.

"Ice cream!" They yelled.

"Only the people who get this question correct get ice cream, what is special about today?" Jade asked, hoisting up the ice cream above the sink.

"Ooh! I know!" Liam, Zayn, and Louis shot up.

"On the count of three, say it. One...two...three!" Eleanor counted.

"Clara's birthday!" They all chorused.

I sent an uneasy smile, as they all greeted me. Harry just looked dumbfounded.

some best friend, I thought.

I called over Kristine, since she hasn't come yet. Niall and her have been getting closer, and I almost caught the, snogging!

Jeanie and Zayn have gotten so much stronger since the break up.

I'm leaving for Yale in one more week. The flights were all delayed due to reconstruction of the college.

"Happy birthday, Clara." Harry mumbled.

"Thanks." I sighed.

Well,there goes him for my best friend.

I walked over to my room, of course since I was leaving in a week, it was bare.All that remained was but a bare wall where my posters used to hang, and lost memories.

"Hey." A deep British voice whispered.

You sighed softly and smiled back.

"Hi." You muttered.

"Hey, I got you something." He smiled.

"What?" You were puzzled.

He took out a small gift bag. I took it from his hands, and took out a picture frame. It was a picture of us in Paris. He held me bridal style while we had macarons in our hands, close to our mouths.

FLASHBACK (Clara and Harry are still together here)

"Harry! Lets get macarons!" I squealed.

"Okay." He mumbled.

You walk in, and see the many macarons spread out across the table. You sent Harry a smile, as he looked over.

Mmm... So many choices.

You both bought three macarons, and walked out. Then, Louis saw us, and took the picture. Harry swooped his hands under me, and picked me up. I squealed.

They snapped the picture and I jumped back down.

END OF FLASHBACK.

"Clara." His voice sounded raspy and deep. I could just melt.

I looked up and his lips were inches from mine, his breath was radiating off of my nose. I tried to talk, but I couldn't.

"Just tell me when to stop." He whispered.

He crashed his lips to mine, our lips perfectly molding together. This kiss was something I would hopefully remember forever. It felt so right, it couldn't be wrong. (a/n lol I quoted Cody Simpson.)

Then, a voice filled our ears.

"Clara! What are you doing with him?!" Keaton's voice growled.

You pulled away and saw Keaton with his nostrils flared and his fists clenched into fists.

I'm screwed.
