FRIDAY, WEEK 6
"... No."
"Oh come on, Lix. It's the fifth set!" Eugene sighs, leaning her body against the wall dramatically. She wears an elegant black off-shoulder dress that flares at the waist—a little more formal than her usual style but fitting for the occasion.
Felix leans casually next to her, crossing his arms with a smirk. "You got, like... tons of other outfits. Why are you so fixated on this one?"
"It's not about being fixated on this one. This is the fifth set that you've disagreed on." She puffs her cheeks in annoyance, "Maybe you should just browse my wardrobe and pick an outfit for me."
He raises an eyebrow at her suggestion, his smirk growing wider. "Are you sure you want me to do that? I might have some... interesting suggestions."
"Yeah, yeah. I'll see what you've got for me." She grins, gets off the wall, and sits on her bed instead. "Don't take too much time, though. We don't wanna make the other two wait."
Chuckling under his breath, Felix makes his way to her wardrobe and pulls open the doors. He browses through the hangers rather seriously, sometimes holding up a top or a dress, tilting his head while staring at them before moving on.
"Hm... okay, how about this?" He finally says, pulling out a simple white maxi dress and pairing it with a soft blue cardigan. He turns back to her, holding them up proudly, "Top it off with your yellow sling bag. I think you'll look adorable."
Eugene sits up a little straighter, eyeing the pieces. She tilts her head, mentally assembling the outfit in her mind.
"Hmm... That actually doesn't look so bad." She admits, tapping her chin, "But... isn't it a bit too casual? It's not a fancy event or anything, but it's not too casual, right?"
Felix shrugs, grinning, "So what? It's not like we're trying to outdress Hyunjin. He looks like he falls out of a Vogue photoshoot every time he steps outside."
At that, Eugene bursts into laughter. "True! I'll never reach his level..."
"Anyway, aren't you supposed to be matching me?" He gives her a little princess twirl, his eyes turning into crescents while at it. "This outfit would surely match with my oversized denim jacket and white pants."
Her laughter softens into a fond smile, "Ah. So, this was your plan all along?"
"Ehe." He giggles shyly and hands over the two pieces to her, "Blue cardigan to match my jacket. White dress to match my pants. Yellow bag to match my blonde hair."
She raises an eyebrow, smirking as she accepts the outfit, "... You thought a lot about this." Eugene leans forward and presses a quick, light kiss to his cheek before heading toward the bathroom. "Cute."
Felix freezes for a second, the colour pink spreading across his cheeks. He scratches the back of his head, sheepishly grinning to himself. "Yeah, well... figured it'd be nice if we match. It's cheesy but..."
"It's also kinda sweet." She laughs before closing the toilet door to get changed.
He chuckles softly to himself, running a hand through his hair. Felix takes a seat on the bed, lightly kicking his feet back and forth like an excited kid.
After a few moments, the bathroom door finally opens again, and Eugene steps out, wearing the outfit that Felix had chosen for her. The white dress is complemented so well with the blue cardigan, and the yellow bag slung by her side adds the perfect contrast.
Felix smiles as he takes sight of her slowly.
"... You look cute." He says, his voice softer than usual.
