Chapter 18

I woke up to complete silence.
Cameron slept with me last night and we just talked the whole time until at least 3 am.

I got to know him a lot better and I couldn't be happier with him. I figured he had gone for a run or something so I went into the living room to watch Netflix in only a sports bra and yoga shorts.

To my surprise, Kian and Cameron were sitting next to eachother on the couch. Cameron was on his phone and Kian was sitting down awkwardly rubbing his thighs with his hands.

"What's going on?"

"Good morning, babe."
Kian replied.

"Watch it." Cameron snapped.

"I'm not your babe."

"That's why I came here. I need to talk to you!"
 
I furrowed my eyebrows and turned to Cam.
"And you're okay with this?"

"I j-just figured that you invited him or something. At least that's what he told me..." Cameron looked like he had a tear forming in his eye.

"No I did not! Kian I told you I never wanted to talk to you again! What part of that didn't you get?"

"Let's just go talk. I just need two minutes."

"Okay. Fine. Let's go outside."

I walked and Kian followed like a puppy dog. Ugh. He made me hate him. I don't want to get back with him. I want Cameron.

"I don't know how I could ever make up what I did. But him taking advantage of you like that pisses me off. I was supposed to be your first. And I wanted to hopefully be your last."

"Bullshit." I barely made audible.

"I did! Jessica I love you! I still love you!"

"YOU CHEATED ON ME! AND EVERYTIME I KISSED YOU OR EVEN SMILED AT YOU THAT WAS ALL THAT I COULD THINK ABOUT!! EVEN THOUGH I CAIGHT YOU YOU CONTINUED TO CHEAT ON ME! AND DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DID NOT BECAUSE I KNOW YOU DID! FUCK YOU KIAN! I AM DONE AND I AM WITH CAMERON NOW! HE DID NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME AND HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT BECAUSE UNLIKE YOU HE IS A GREAT PERSON! AND HE CARES ABOUT ME!
Kian, I'm done. And I'm serious. Don't call me. Don't text me. Don't even think about me. Just get the hell out of here!"
I lost it. Steam was practically blowing out of my ears.

Without another word Kian turned and ran towards his car.
I was absolutely mind-blowingly done with Kian's bullshit.
He was officially just a stage I went through in life that is behind me.
Like I said.
Goodbye Kian. You won't be missed.

I slowly made my way back inside as Cameron darted towards me, wrapping me in his arms.

"I'm here now. Baby, it's okay."
He whispered into my ear. If he was Kian, he'd probably be all over me with kisses and hickeys, but Cam was gentle. He was more than enough. And I couldn't tell him yet, but I had completely, totally, inevitably fallen in love.

"You are all I want, Cameron. You are all that I need. Just don't ever forget that. And promise me you won't turn into him."

"Baby, I promise. I won't ever hurt you."

He looked over at the clock.

"Damn. We've only got three hours. You wanna go pack?"

"No not yet. Let's just lay down and watch Netflix." He kissed my forehead.

"You are adorable."
