Jack
I watch as she runs back down the road.
I quickly gather all my things and hop on my penny board.
I skate till I catch up to her, but it's too late because she is already at her camping site.
I just continue skating as if I don't know her because parents and me aren't really best friends.
I go back to my site and begin to eat the left over dinner from what johnson's mom made.
to lydia:
are you okay? After she doesn't answer, I text a few more texts.
to lydia:
did I do anything?to lydia:
Am I causing any trouble? After she didn't answer for like an hour, I give up.
Lydia
I watch my phone light up again, is this kid going to give up?
I pick it up and see it's from leeann my cousin.
from leeann:
I'm hereto leeann:
okay, comin!I quickly check out the trailer window and to my liking, jack nor johnson is in sight.
I quickly run 4 sites down to my cousins trailer as I see her waving.
I fake a quick, unnoticed smile to her direction and contemplate if I should mention the jacks or not.
I take a deep breath and reach her.
"hey lyd!" she says over excitedly.
"hey lee.." I sigh.
She has always been the too perky type for me.
We have never really been too close because of the distance of homes from each other.
We go to this camp ground every year so we can see each other more often.
It's not until I receive the most greatest feeling in the world, I notice the fact that my best friend deanna baker as pulled in directly next to leeann.
"one second," I say to her.
"yeah of course...." I hear while walking straight past her.
"DEANNA!!" I yell as I run up to her and engulf her in a hug.
Her dark, curly hair lies on the top of her shoulders.
Her tannish skin cover by her over-worn Shawn Mendes hoodie.
Her make-up perfectly applied and her jean shorts with her black socks and adidas.
It fits her lean, tall, and curvy figure perfectly.
We break the hug, "hey loser, I missed you." I laugh.
