Draco falls to his knees, reaching for Kyle who has his head buried in his hands. The boy's whole body is shaking with the strength of his emotions. Draco knows he needs to be strong for Kyle right now, and he will, but first he needs to hold him. He needs to know he's still here. Harry and now Kenneth, they're both gone. They're both in the clutches of their enemies. He didn't even know they had enemies. Of course, he knew they would never be popular within wizarding society. They're a couple formed from extremes. He, being extremely dark and hated by the light and Harry being extremely light and hated by his kind. They could never be popular, but he didn't think they were creating enemies.

Their children were both disowned, why do the Nordstroke and Rosier families want them back now? He and Harry didn't take Kyle and Kenneth. Neither had a place. The reasoning is flawed. He's missing something. Unless he's not, and it's a poor excuse to capture Harry. Those people are using his children against him. It's a weakness. They're exploiting a weakness that we've created, and it's working. He will do anything to get his family back. He wasn't lying when he said he'd let them have Hogwarts. It's wrong, and he knows it's wrong, but it's how he feels.

Kyle flings himself at Draco. They both need the reassurance. They are both suffering.

"Stop this at once!" Pansy storms into the room, "This isn't helping. Control yourselves." She pulls them to their feet, "This is ridiculous... I'm going to give you exactly thirty seconds to pull yourselves together or I swear on Merlin, Salazar, and all the little Founders that I will beat you both like petulant toddlers."

"Mate?" Ron hugs Draco, "We'll get them back."

Hermione pulls Kyle into a hug, petting his hair.

"No!" Pansy stomps away, "All this... you should be ashamed..."

"Where are you going?" Ernie follows her as she snatches up the map and heads towards the door.

"I'm getting my godson back, Ernest, and to do that, I need to get these little cunts masquerading as squirrels." She points at the names on the map, "Let the Gryffindors have their cry fest with my stupid best friend and his equally stupid child. I am going to do something productive. I am going to fucking skin them!" She slams the door in his face.

"Wait." Ernie runs after her. "I'll help. He's my step-godson after all."

"I have an idea." Theo stops Ernie, "I need your help. I promise, we'll catch up to her."

Theo pulls him into Kyle's room. Walking past everyone and towards Nova's terrarium. "Can you charm this unbreakable?" He reaches in, taking the snake out of the tank.

"Yeah." Ernie pulls his wand, "Why?"

"We'll need a place to keep the squirrels." Theo glares out the window, "Somewhere we can keep an eye on them. I wish Nova was bigger. I'd like to see her eat those bastards."

"We could trade them for Harry and Kenny." Ernie casts the spell.

"Fuck that." Theo growls, "When we're done with them, there won't be enough of them to trade for a goddamn quill."

"Mr. Nott." Snape frowns, "Mr. Macmillan, for once, has an idea worth pursuing. We may be able to trade the animagus for the Potters."

"We need to catch them first." Theo stomps out of the bedroom.

Ernie shrinks the terrarium, putting it in his pocket, "Are you going to help?" He looks at Snape.

"Unfortunately, I must speak with Minerva and contact the Aurors. This shouldn't be handled by school aged children. It's bad enough they made off with the Golden boy, but we have a minor missing as well. I will return shortly, until then, try to keep everyone safe and at this school."
