Many things are going nowadays, some good, some bad, even our personal life is also messed up. I'll be honest, there are many things around me that's demotivating me in many ways. There are so many things going in my personal life that I spend nights without a blink of sleep. But it's okay, everything's gonna be fine one day (hope so).
I haven't shared much but things are not same for me for the past 6 months (200 days now). Personal life is always f*cked up more or less. And as a fan, it was bittersweet.
As a die hard cricket fan, it was great but bad too.
Be it T20 WC or Champions Trophy or any of the matches(win or loss both), we cried happy tears. So proud of our boys!
As MSD fan, it was a great year with his constant presence here and there and seeing him on field 💗
As Ishan Kishan fan, it was bittersweet too. Happy for his back to back centuries, his achievements, but sad too because the boy is trying so hard but people on social media are lurking like hawks all the time. Yes, we are sad that even when he is trying, there's a bit lack of consistency. But I know that he is a champ so he is gonna shine soon 🧿
And the central contract is back too! So happy for him.
As Shubman Gill fan, it was good on field but bad on social media. Always PR, PR, PR... bhai itni dikkat hai usse toh jaa tu bhi PR work kar le, kuch paise kama lega 🙄.
No matter how much he gives in cricket, there's always going to be ridiculous rumors going around tarnishing him and his confidence. Yeah, we don't know a celebrity personally but we don't have any right to poke nose in their life and bash them.
Important: Ask yourself, are you a cricket fan or a particular person fan. If you are a true cricket fan then you're never gonna bash any player, no matter the country or age. If it's a particular person only, then you have trapped yourself in an immense disappointed well. Cricket is a team game so you're never gonna be a cricket fan if you praise one and bash others. If you praise or love one either for their looks or charms and have zero knowledge about their work then eventually that infatuation is going to slip up.
Because of this amazing sport cricket (watching from my childhood), I got to know, respect and love these awesome people ❤
As Ishman fan, yeah I know many are sad after the last GT vs SRH match because there weren't many Ishman content. But are we really judging their friendship on this?! We all have seen and know that their friendship runs deeper than anything, and friendship or not or more than that, always remember that we are just their fans and admirers, we have got no right to bash or dislike them.
Don't know how many of you have seen MSD and Suresh Raina and heard about their friendship. MSD is the introverted type, he never shares things or pics with Raina or others but we have seen Raina liking and commenting on Dhoni's posts and even Raina posts so many things related to Dhoni. So does that mean MSD don't value Raina or their friendship? A BIG NO. Raina don't judge their friendship on social medias. He is still the same person who runs to MSD and hugs him tightly whenever they meet. In fact Dhoni too teases Raina whenever he comes during CSK practice or they meet in a party. Their friendship is so beautiful 🧿
So, not everything is social media!
Now an important thing which I have never shared much. I've been a big fan of music band One Direction (I don't know if you have heard about them or not). They were very famous in their prime and still are. 1D (short for One Direction) fans are all over the world. The band was formed in 2010 with five boys. But their management was sh!t, the boys over worked, rarely got time for themselves and eventually one of them (Zayn) left the band. Overwork took toll on the boys who were just in their early 20s. Some months later, the band (the other 4 boys) announced 18 months hiatus. They promised in 2015 that they will be back in 18 months. It will be 10 YEARS now and they still haven't come (and I think never will). It didn't matter, we fans always waited for the reunion though we fully enjoyed and whole heartedly supported their solo career.
Everything was going fine when one day, on 16th October 2024, everything changed for the worst. We lost our sunshine, one of the boys, Liam Payne, forever. Never in our wildest dream we thought that we will see this day, where there will be our life where we will live without Liam.
Being a celebrity, they also got immense love. But Liam, he was indirectly or directly, always on 'hate radar'. People will bash him endlessly without a care of his mental health or his feelings. Days before his demise, his ex also spread false allegations against him. And people again without seeing anything jumped on the hate train. We fans defended him, requested everyone to stop spreading hate, but did anyone heard? NO.
He didn't took his life, he was on high dr*gs before his d*ath. People mocked him that he is responsible for everything, why did he took dr*gs? But that was not the truth. He was in rehab before and was taking therapy now. He was keeping himself away from alcohol and all. But still there were images where his manager(s) were seen with a!cohols and other items in front of him. If someone has come from rehab then it's our responsibility too to support them and of course don't flaunt these things in front of them.
Suddenly he was high on drugs and his manager or management was doing nothing about it? He was a famous celebrity but still there were no 'PR' to clean his image? Rather his management always showed him as a bad person. The hotel in which he was staying, where everything happened, their cctv clips got viral where we saw Liam fainted and he was trying to convey something. But rather than consulting a doctor for your guests, the hotel staffs carried him to his room and locked him. Liam's d*ugged mind thought of maybe escaping and he went to the balcony where he slipped and...
(It's too hard recalling those moments, when the news got viral... too hard to control tears)
And oBviOuSLy it's not suspicious that Liam's manager was there with him for days but suddenly he went back to his home country just hours before the accident. And now 6 months later, those false accusations that his ex claimed against him proofed to be wrong... But now what?? Will that give him back to us? Will that reduce Liam's pain of those last days when he saw all the hates towards him on social medias?? Nothing happened and will happen, everyone is roaming free after ruining him.
Well sorry for the rambling, but I shared this because of two reasons. First, being a fan of someone or something which not many know or support in family or friend circle is hard. After the news I used to cry day and night in my room and then put a smile in front of family. Till now I have not shared this pain with anyone because I know no one will understand. I was so invested in the band and the boys, that it hurts like hell. I haven't heard their songs because I can't find that courage to not cry while listening. I know many will say that he was just a celebrity, but how to tell them my feelings, my love and respect for him and the other boys too.
Moving on, the second reason is, the ongoing hate towards Ishan. That sweet human deserves love and only love. But the hate that he is receiving is reminding me again and again of Liam's. I know many are sad and afraid for him, BUT it's our responsibility to show and shower him with our true love and support. And not just when he is performing well, no, we have to support him endlessly everyday. We Liam fans loved and supported him but maybe our love got suppressed in front of those immense hate. That's why I request everyone to shower Ishan with immense love and show him that we are always there for him after his family and friends.
Nothing, just pray for Ishan and love him unconditionally.
You know, we fans made a book for Liam where many fans wrote supportive, positive, lovable messages for him. There was one person who organised it, we all dmed them our messages and then they took out the print outs and stick them in that book. Liam got that book... but maybe that was not enough too 💔.
But anyways, I too want to create something like that for Ishan too so that he will know that we all are always with him. Being from the same city I can give him but I don't want to go his house because that will be creepy. Don't want to invade or disturb his safe place and then be a clingy stalker fan. Let's see maybe when he comes to his academy then I'll respectfully meet him (if I'm too in the city and not rotting in my hostel and college)...
Anyways, the main purpose of writing all this was that if you are supporting them then do that fully and genuinely. Don't love one and hate the other(s). Yeah people are sad because of less Ishman content but remember we are not here just for 'contents'. We are always going to support and love Ishan and Shubman both ❤. Let's make a positive surrounding and write or share here our positive thoughts and smile together.
