Solars POV

I sat quietly next to Moon, the area was full of family and close friends. I sighed and looked into my lap, where my hands lay concealing a small velvet box. I looked over to Moon again who was talking to Sun across from him, I sighed and looked to Earth next to me. She smiled and gave a thumbs up. I had told her about my special idea, but honestly I was getting second thoughts about it.

About an hour passed, everyone got their food and ate. I had a good time getting to hear about everyone's lives and how everything is going, especially seeing how Sun is holding up after what I heard about what happened to one of the Bloodmoon twins. I didn't like them much but from what I've heard they have changed a lot!

I did notice while throughout the family meet up, Ruin and Sun were very chatty together. I know Ruin is lonely so it makes me happy to see he's getting along with at least one person here, yes Sun doesn't have the nicest tendencies but they both need a little help.

"Hey, you doing ok Sol" Moon gently nudged me out of my thoughts, I chuckled.

"Yea, yea I'm fine... just stuck in a train of thought." I sighed and looked him in the eyes, I knew my next question would be stupid but I needed to know.

"Moon- i-if I were to propose to you in front of everyone would you be mad?" I asked dreadfully, he just stared at me dumbfounded.

"I- I uhm... well no? I dunno? Are you?" He asked slowly, his entire body frozen, I shrugged and looked back at the others.

"S-Solar! You can't just say that and not give context!" he whisper yelled, and shoved me, I chuckled and winked at him. That clearly didn't help cause he seems to be freaking out, I gently took his hand and asked politely for Eclipse to let us through. I noticed Earth whip her phone out with a big smile, and I knew she was going to record every second.

I stopped in front of the tables where all our family members and friends were sitting, I took both his hand in mine and looked into his eyes.

"Moon~" I shakily breathed, getting onto one knee. He froze and I could hear his breathing became shaky as well.

"Would you be the one to make me smile every morning, to make me regret sleeping, and so much more? and- " I gulped down my shaky voice and mustard up the courage to speak those words that have been choking me for months.

"And Marry Me?~" I asked as calmly as possible, while pulling out the small velvet box and opening it.

"I- yea!" He said slowly, his smile creeping to a wide grin. I stood up with pure joy and swooped him into a big bear hug, he and I laughed while everyone behind us was clapping and whooping. I gently set him down and showed him the ring I made. It was a solid titanium ring with blue and green jewels embedded in little river-like waves. He splayed his hand out dramatically and let me slide it on for the first time, he and I shared a quick but gentle kiss before turning to meet Earth's huge hug and squealing.
