TY'S POV

"Maisie?!" What was she talking about? Then I remember she said Penny's name. Great, she got involved. Well what am I supposed to do!? She's in there crying in the girl's bathroom!

"Ty!? Where's Maisie? She should've been at lunch like 5 minutes ago!" I hear Nicole yell behind me. I hit my palm to my face. I'm in the doghouse now. I slowly turn around and see all four of them. Great, I can handle Nicole, but I can not handle Addi.

"Hey...guys.." I say awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck. "Ty..where is Maisie?" Belle asks slowly. "Umm.." Addi looks behind me at the bathroom doors. Her eyes widen. "Ty...don't you dare tell me that Maisie is in that the bathroom crying her eyes out from a heartbreak, cause if you do I will mess.you.up." Addi warns, getting closer to me with every word.

"Um-I mean- she is! But-" I stammer. "That's it! Belle, Rachel, grab his arms!" she demands. "No! Addi, it is not what you think! Yes, she's crying in there, but not over a heartbreak! I think there's been a misunderstanding! Please, let me talk to her on my own." I say. She backs up a little and looks me up and down. She folds her arms and looks past me, again, at the doors.

"You know you're not allowed in their right?" she asks. I shrug. "I know, but we're talking about my Ace." I quickly turn around and push open the bathroom door and duck in. "Our Ace." I hear Nicole call before the door closes all the way. I laugh and start looking around for her.

"Maisie?!" I call into the stalls. "Maisie?! God, this place is huge!" I say the last part softer. Then I realize I don't hear anything. No sniffling, no crying, nothing. I look around faster and that's when I see it; the open bathroom window. "Maisie?" I whisper.

I think of going out and telling the girls what I found, but I realize I have no time. Ace could be anywhere by now. I run and jump up to window and climb out. Where is she? Oh my gosh. I know where she went.

I start running away from the school, into the trees. "Maisie!" I call into the forest. Maisie, please be ok. I run farther in. I finally find where I'm looking for. Our special place.

"Maisie!?" I yell again. I hear sniffles. Maisie! I run to the sound and see her wading in the pond. "Maisie?! What are you doing?!" I yell. She looks at me with her eyes full of tears. "I-uh-" "Get out of there!" I yell again. "No! Why should I listen to you?! You broke my heart, Ty!" She screams.

"What are you talking about?!" I ask, confused. "Penny told me everything! So you can stop pretending you care about me!" she cries. "What are you- what?!" she wades farther into the water. "Maisie, stop! You can barely even swim!" I remind her. She stops "Why do you think I'm in here?!"

She continues into the the pond until her head is just above the water. "Maisie I'm not kidding! Get out now!" I yell, shakily. She looks at me one last time with her tear stricken face and sinks all the way in. No. I run across the clearing and dive into the pond.

I open my eyes under the foggy water. I can't see Maisie. What am I supposed to do without her. I come up for a breathe of air. I turn in circles. She didn't come up. Wh-what am I supposed to do? I dive under again. I see her. She's not moving. Maisie, oh god, Maisie, please be ok, please.

I swim to her lifeless body and pick her up out of the the cold water. I lay her down on the grass. "Maisie, please wake up! I can't live without you! Maisie, please!" I cry out. She won't wake up. "Please."
