Omari Pov
Omari sighed as he made his way out of his last period math. Omari wasn't stupid but sitting in math class made him feel like it. He was peacefully walking that was soon interrupted by his two loud ass friends Treyvon and Keon.
"Aye we heading ta' da' mall you game?" Treyvon asked dapping Omari up.
"Nah you know i'm onna shift tuh'day." Omari answered, sighing since he didn't wanna go in but he was gonna thug it out since he was almost at his goal of money to move out his parents house.
"Yo ass always working, ain't neva wanna hang with da' bros huh?" Keon asked shaking his head.
"You just mad yo ass ain't gotta job ain't it?" Omari said making Treyvon and him laugh.
"mmtch now you know i be interviewing at them folks places dey' ain't takin a nigga." Keon said mugging them both.
"That's cause they know yo ass on bullshit." Treyvon said.
"Bet that nigga find yo own ride, how bout that." Keon said jiggling his keys.
"mmtch you know a young nigga saving." Treyvon mugged him.
"for you and that girl huh? not even a car or nun just fast i swear." Keon said shaking his head.
"well that girl said she wanna go on vacation, she said we foreva so." Treyvon said shrugging.
"Dumb ass nigga swear." Omari said shaking his head.
"mmtch mad cause that quiet kid don't know you exist." Treyvon said laughing.
"ahaha boffu y'all locked down, imma free bird nigga." Keon said flapping his arms.
"ain't you and ole girl talkin?" Omari said raising his eyebrows in confusion.
"Nah she playin onna nigga." Keon said.
They finally reached the gate pushing it open, and heading out to their cars. Omari and Keon decided to buy parking spots right next to each other just cause.
"Aii imma holla at y'all lata." Omari nodded at them and got in the driver seat starting his car up.
The other two nodded at him and got in the car, Keon in the driver seat and Treyvon playing passenger princess.
Omari connected his phone to his car and played pink matter by frank ocean. Omari started the drive towards his job at 'the spot' he was just recently hired making this his second job. How does he work two jobs and have time for school? Determination to move out.
He parked his car in his assigned spot and turned it off, he got and clocked in and started working the host spot. The first guests appeared through the door making his head rise up.
"awee baby you actually listened to me." The lightskin woman with blonde and pink locs said, as she clutched onto a darkskins bicep.
"You know i got you Ameri." He said smiling at her showing off his grilz, that appeared to make her swoon.
Omari looked at them and his face unconsciously scrunched up looking at the corny ass couple. They had already irritated him and he just got here.
"How many in yo party?" Omari said a mug still plastered on his face.
"uh-just us two." The woman said taking in Omaris expression.
He nodded and grabbed two menus and silverware and motioned for them to follow him. hopefully they got the memo cause Omari walked straight there not looking back.
He made it to the table setting the menu and silverware down, looking back seeing the two standing there.
"Yo serve will be witchu soon." He quickly said heading back up to the front.
Omari had checked in a few more people in the past half hour, he was bored not having made any friends at his new job. The door bell chimes and he looks up his face immediately softening at the sight before him.
He saw a gorgeous lightskin with the prettiest eyes he had ever seen. Omari was instantly attracted to him as soon as his eyes set on his face. He was talking with a girl that walked beside him with a mug on her face, he had a pearly white smile with a row of golds on the bottom row of his teeth.
Omari heart twitched, 'oh i definitely need allat.' Omari thought biting his lip. His job was finally getting interesting he had only hoped the boy would become a regular here.
They eventually walked up to him and he sat them down in his section, making him their waiter. He purposely did that of course but who's gonna admit that? Not Omari.
Omari was in the back putting their orders in that he had just previously taken, when he came back out he heard commotion going on. It was the gorgeous boy and the cringy couple arguing.
"So this what the fuck we doing now Ameri huh?" Omari ma- i mean the gorgeous boy said.
"i can't have friends now? insecure much?" The woman who was called Ameri said.
"Aii so flirtin back and forth is friends now?? The fuck i look like a damn clown." He said getting visibly upset.
"yo you gon calm allat shit down, don't be mad she fucking with a real nigga now and don't need ya ass." The darkskins spoke getting up from his seat.
"A real nigga?? shut yo bitch ass up i ain't speakin ta' you." He spoke harshly.
Omari sat and watched his every move and he couldn't lie and say that it wasn't turning him on slightly. He should probably stop this he thought, but he ain't captain save a hoe.
The darksin stepped to the gorgeous boy and got all in his face.
"Who the fuck you callin bitch? bitch." He said mugging him.
"The only bitch ass nigga in here?" He said sarcastically.
The girl he was with spoke up seeing as this was slightly going to far, she didn't want him to get hurt.
"Genesis he ain't worth it, and she sure ain't worth shit with ha' ugly ass. let's go." She said grabbing his arm.
'So his name is Genesis? i like the way it rolls off the tongue.' Omari smirked to himself completely forgetting the commotion.
"Who the fuck you callin ugly sis?" Ameri said now interested since the boys weren't fighting over her no more.
"Please don't test me tuhh fucking day, i step behind mines." The girl with Genesis said.
Omaris show was soon cut short when he was called into the kitchen to run some food around the place. He sighed taking one last look at Genesis and getting to work letting someone else deal with the commotion.
