Genesis pov
Genesis sat and watched Omari work the podium for the last three ish hours. He was served a plate of shrimp pasta and a mango tea. He was pleased with his free dish.
Right now Omari was talking to a customer and Genesis was watching his every move. His eyes were trained on him watching how he interacted with the customer.
'I can't lie he looks kinda good right now.' Genesis thought as he stared at him taking in every inch of him.
Omaris shift was finally coming to an end and he was finishing up with his last customer. He lead them to a table and went back to clock out for the day.
He came back out the break room and walked up Genesis with a smile.
"Come hea' let's go ta ma car." Omari said extending his hand out.
Genesis looked at it then looked back up and him. He decided to get up on his own and walk ahead of him, Omari just laughed and caught up with him.
"I know yuh saw ma' hand righ' thea'" Omari said slipping his hand in between Genesis hand.
"i saw it and ain't acknowledge it." Genesis said, thinking of ripping his hand away but decided to keep it.
Omari just smiled seeing Genesis keep it and they walked to his car together.
Once they reached it Omari opened Genesis door letting go of his hand to let him get in.
"This gon be an every time thing?" Genesis asked getting in the car.
"Wheneva yuh wit' me." Omari replied closing his door and getting in the car himself.
Omari turned the car on and handed Genesis the aux . Genesis looked at it and took it plugging it into his phone. He played Dark thoughts by Lil Tecca.
"Where we going?" Genesis questioned looking over and Omari.
"Ta' a lil spot i kno'." Omari said smiling at Genesis
Genesis face slowly turned into a mug, he didn't like not knowing where he was going. Omari reaches his left hand over and places it on Genesis thigh.
"It's ma' spot, yuh like it." Omari said and continued to drive.
They sat and vibed to music nothing being said, it was peaceful. Omari kept his hand on Genesis thigh gently rubbing back and forth. They arrived in under half an hour.
The car was parked in a parking lot in front of a secluded area, it was surrounded by trees and nature it was a beautiful area.
"We hea'." Omari said turning the car off and getting out.
Genesis sat still until Omari got to his side and opened his door for him. Of course Omari grabbed Genesis hand and they walked hand and hand until they reached an area that looked like it had been used before.
Omari led them to a blanket already placed on the grass and they both sat down.
"Ight what we here for?" Genesis asked looking at Omari.
"we needa talk pretty." Omari says looking back at Genesis.
Genesis sensed the change in tone and realized he was being serious a pit grew in his stomach, he was feeling nervous.
"About...?" He slowly questioned.
"yuh feel me puttin' tha' pressura on yuh, yuh wit it or nah?" Omari asked straight up.
Genesis didn't say anything for a second, he didn't really know what to say.
"What you mean? i'm wit or it nah?" Genesis asked to be completely clear on what was being said.
"Pretty come'on na' yuh kno' i want yuh. I be flirtin' yuh up all the way up." Omari looked him straight in the eye knowing he is being real with him.
"want me like..wanna date?" The words fell out of his mouth slowly.
Omari let out a small laugh, "Yes behbey i want yuh like dat."
Genesis looked away and looked down at his fidgeting hands, he didn't know what to say he's never been with or ever thought about a man that way before.
"i..i don't know what ta say." Genesis truthfully spoke.
Omaris smile slowly dropped, he thought this would happen he should've never liked a straight man.
"i'll back up off yuh if dats wha' yuh wan', i don't wanna chase yuh if i can't have yuh." Omari said his face dropping even more as the words left his mouth.
"what that mean? like we just be friends or.." Genesis asked not completely wanting him to go.
"Na' we can't be friends, tha' woul' hurt to much." Omari honestly admitted.
They sat in silence with their own thoughts for a good while, before Omari decided to speak up again.
"Lemme drop yuh back off aii." He said getting up off the blanket.
Genesis look up at him noticing no extended hand or eye contact was happening. He got up eyes trained at the ground as both men walk back in silence.
They reached the car Omari still keeping his word opening Genesis door for him, then settled himself in the driver seat.
The ride was awkward and uncomfortable, Genesis only wished the ride was like how it was before.
The car was parked as soon as it was started and the engine was off even faster.
"I'll see yuh around." Omari said quickly.
"uh yea you too." Genesis says awkwardly
Genesis got out the car and closed the door he started to make his way towards his own car that was parked but something made him stop and turn around.
He opened The driver side of Omaris car door and looked down at him with determination in his eyes.
"Yuh forgot su-" Omari was cut off with a pair
of soft, gentle lips on his.
Genesis placed his hand over Omaris chin and using it to guide his lips and pull him in closer. Omari smiled into the kiss.
Genesis slowly backed away but not to far, they held eye contact like they were still hungry for more.
"Wha' was tha' fa?" Omari asked with a goofy smile.
"i don't want to never speak again, who else gon annoy me?" Genesis said with a smirk.
