Genesis pov
It was finally the day, where Genesis had to present his end of the year project. He was definitely not in the right headspace after hearing he was a father, but he still has to finish school.
On a brighter note that meant the end of the year was fast approaching, Genesis couldn't wait to walk that stage and never look back to high school.
He already had a plan, but now that's faltered with the whole baby situation. He hasn't told anyone, not even his sister who he tells everything to.
Genesis sighs and hops out the shower quickly throwing on any clothes he could find, fashion being the last thing he thinks about. He heads downstairs and sees his whole family at the table. That's new.
"Hey baby, i cooked some breakfast for you come sit." Allusion said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Goodmorning mom, thank you." Genesis pulls out his chair and takes a seat.
"Wassup son, anything new?" Tyrell said, loading his fork up with food.
"Nah nothing pops." Genesis says, it was like they could tell something was off. He didn't even wanna look in Dreams direction she'd look straight through him.
Allusion sat his plate in front of him, then sat down herself.
"So me and your dad decided we were going away soon. We wanted to have a family breakfast before we go." She smiled, eating a strawberry.
"We're going to japan this time, it sounds fun don't it." Tyrell said with a big grin on his face.
Dream stood up fast, her chair squeaking against the floor. Everyone looked her way since it was so sudden.
"It's every single time with you guys huh? I thought for once we were just having a family breakfast, but of course it's to tell us you're going on another fucking vacation. Do you even love us? Y'all are never around for anything we do. And i fucking bet you planned this dumbass vacation and didn't think of Genesis walking the stage in just a few weeks. Gonna miss that too aren't you?" Dream had tears rolling down her face but the time she was down.
Allusion got up from her seat and slapped Dream across the face. Dream's hand immediately went to her face, she looked at her mom with hurt and anger.
"Who the fuck you think you are cussing at us like we ain't your parents? You don't understand how it feels to be a mother, i need breaks and i'm allowed it. Me and your father have been there for you two since you were born, you never wanted for nothing you have everything you ever asked for. Sure we missed a game or two but we are still good parents. Genesis graduation happened to slip our minds that's all." Allusion raised her voice.
"Such a good fucking job you two did, clap it up for taking responsibility like you ain't the ones who made us. Don't act like materialistic things outweighs parents love and attention. That's fucking dumb, and don't put your hands on my sister no more." Genesis angrily said towards them. He walked over towards his mom and Dream and stood in front of her protectively.
"Since you think you a grown ass man speaking to us this way, how bout y'all get the fuck out and fend for yourselves. See how it feels to take care of yourselves the way your mom and i did." Tyrell said final.
The tension in the room grew more and more as the silence grew. No one expected this to be said.
"Fine we gon be ight, not like y'all be around enough anyways. Let's go Dream." Genesis snatched his keys off the table but Tyrell stopped him.
"Ain't i buy you that car?" Tyrell smirked and held his hand out.
"No the fuck you didn't, i paid for it with my job that i got. You paid for Dreams car, but i'll get her another one easy." Genesis grabbed Dreams hand and pulled her towards the front door.
"Wait sweetie let's rethink this, they are our kids." Allusion grabbed her husband's forearm.
"No they think they run shit over here i'll give them sumn to run." Tyrell said as he watched Genesis slam the door shut.
"Genesis are we actually gonna be okay? look i can go apologize, i'm so-" Dream was cut off with a big hug from Genesis.
He tightly wrapped his arms around her and let her emotions rise knowing she was gonna cry. As if on cue she started to sob and break down in his arms.
"Youn gotta apologize for shit, they don't want us we'll leave. I got us don't even worry about it." Genesis spoke softly towards his sister.
They eventually got into the car and headed towards a hotel to stay in while Genesis figures out what he's gonna do.
They made it to the hotel, it wasn't nothing special just good enough to stay at for the moment. School completely slipped Genesis's mind now he has one more thing to make up onto of everything.
"I'm sorry dooda, i didn't mean to get us kicked out i was just so angry they were missing your moment." Dream said, sitting next to him on the bed.
"It's ight Dream, we gon be cool like we always are without them." Genesis said, putting one arm around her shoulder.
Genesis decided he was gonna tell Dream since she loves babies and maybe this will take her mind off of stuff.
"You remember when Ameri came over?" Genesis started.
"Yea that hoe." Dream said, making Genesis shake his head.
"Well that hoe is having my baby, I'm gonna be a father Dream."
Dream popped up from leaning on her brother and stared at him in shock. Her first reaction was to hit him on the shoulder.
"You cheated on Omari after all the work you did to get him back? especially with that bitch." Dream looked at him in disgust.
"Dream i did not cheat on him, this was when we were together a few months ago, she just decided to just now tell me.
Dreams face washed over with relief, she hugged her brother tight.
"Awee i'm gonna be an auntiee, i'm so excited!"
Genesis laughed at her reaction. "I knew you would be."
"I just wish it wasn't with that bitch, Co-parenting is gonna be the worst with her." Dream shuddered at the thought.
Genesis's face fell and Dream immediately noticed.
"Why you look like that? what she do?"
"She is giving up all rights to the baby and wants absolutely nothing to do with it, she says it's best for her and Tyreeks life." Genesis shook his head placing them in his hands.
"That bitch is putting all the responsibilities on you? Don't even worry about it you know i'll help you. She gon regret that when she actually thinks on it. Do you know how you'll tell Omari?" Dream asked.
"I know you will bug, no i don't know how to tell him. I'm scared what he'll say.
"Well don't even think on that right now, we got bigger things to think of like how to decorate the baby's room!" Dream smiled.
"You do that cause you know i'll have it looking insane. Imma get us somewhere permanent to stay don't worry." Genesis said
He got up stretching his bones and started to walk towards the bathroom.
"Imma shower real quick, then we can figure out what colors."
"Yayyy hurry up in there." Dream quickly went on her phone to look up color palettes.
Genesis turned the water on, and leaned against the bathroom counter. He sighs thinking of all the things he now has to worry about on top of graduation.
All Genesis knows is he gon figure some shit out.
