They made it to the hospital, and as fast as they were in the car they were out just as quick.
"Hi how can i help you?" The woman smiled.
"I'm here to visit Ameri Dair."
"Alright i need Identification from the both of you, also relations to the patient."
Genesis and Omari hand over the IDs sliding it under the square cut plastic of protection.
"I'm the baby's father, he's here for me."
"Alrighty i'll call up to the room." She slides the cards back under the plastic and gets on the phone with the room.
"Go ahead and head okay up to room two-one-eight." She smiles.
Genesis thanked her and led the way towards the elevator. Genesis was picking at his nail and biting his lips anxiously. Omari took notice and grabbed Genesis hand to calm him down.
"Yuh' gon be ight." Omari pecked the back of Genesis hand.
Genesis offered him a weak smile when the elevator opened. Genesis started walking reading each room number.

He pushed the door opened seeing Ameri's face, and the back of Tyreeks head.
"It's about time you came, sick of waiting here." Ameri spat.
"Ameri please not right now, where's my baby?" Genesis looked around not seeing any sign of it.
"It's coming soon, the nurse is bringing a bassinet."
"Yo, wassup?" Tyreek said, towards Genesis.
"Nigga shut the hell talking to me. We ain't cool fuck nigga." Genesis quickly shut it down.
"Don't speak to my man like that. Just cause you jealous you ain't get to keep me don't mean you can be disrespectful." Ameri leaned up ready to argue.
"Ain't nobody want yo airheaded ass but this nigga."
"I can't wait for this process to be over and to never see you again. mad annoying." Ameri rolled her eyes.
"Same here nigga." Genesis said.
Just as Tyreek was going to speak up the nurse came in rolling a bassinet.
"Here's the sweet bundle of joy!" She excitedly said.
She looked around the room seeing the tension being held, she uncomfortably rolled the baby near Ameri and Tyreek, assuming they were the parents.
"So mom and dad, the baby-" She was cut off by Ameri's hand.
"unt unt, we are not the parents, over there." She pointed towards Genesis.
"Oh-uh i'm terribly sorry." She quickly made her way over towards Genesis with the baby.
"I'm sorry for the disrespect she's giving you. Hi i'm the dad."
"Don't talk about me like i'm not in the fucking room Genesis." Ameri said.
"We can go sumn whea' else?" Omari asked, feeling himself getting mad by the second.
"Nah yall good right here." Tyreek interrupted.
"Da behbey not even yo' nigga. Quit jumpin' in this shit." Omari said.
"Who even are you? like Genesis was the only person i said could come into the room." Ameri sassed.
"Okay so, i think we should all calm down. Who's going to be signing the birth certificate?" The nurse asked uncomfortable.
"I am, she gave birth to it tho. She's giving up all rights to the baby so everything belongs to me." Genesis answered.
