But the target of last chapter is still not completed after even 1 month 😭
Now enjoy reading>

The night after the mehndi function cast a soft glow on Grewal's mansion, bathing the walls and garden in a calm, silvery light. The trees swayed lightly in the cool night breeze, their shadows dancing across the ground.
Inside, most of the lights were off, and the quiet hum of the night settled in, broken only by the occasional rustle of leaves. Everything felt still, as if the world had paused to rest.
Ayushi lay on her bed, wincing in severe period cramps, tossing from side to side.
Her phone popped with messages, and she knew who it was-Manav. He had been calling and texting her, but she didn't reply to any of them. She simply didn't want to. Her mood was off after the function, especially since she got her period.
The door to her room creaked open with a soft click. She opened her eyes to see-Raghav entered, concern clear in his eyes.
She whispered, "Bhaiya..." and tried to sit up, but Raghav gently stopped her.
"Nahi, nahi. Leti raho," he said.
She sighed and flopped back onto the bed with a dramatic expression.
Raghav shook his head with a small smile, sat beside her, and asked, "Zyada pain ho raha hai?"
She nodded, still lying down.
"Hot bag bhi nahi lagaya?" he asked, frowning slightly.
"Mujhe mila hi nahi..." she whispered, pouting as she fidgeted with the bedsheet.
He chuckled. "Okay, main laata hoon. Aur kya chahiye madam ko?"
Her eyes lit up at the mention of food. She sat up excitedly. "Aap banaoge kuch? Abhi itni raat ko?"
"Kabhi mana kiya hai?" he replied softly.
"Hehe, toh theek hai, chocolate shake bana do," she said, giving him her best puppy eyes.
He nodded and went downstairs.
Across town, Manav was frustrated.
He lay on his bed, phone in hand, staring at the screen.
She hadn't replied.
He muttered to himself, "Ek message ka reply bhi nahi kiya..."
Then tried to reason, "Zyada pain ho raha hoga na?" His voice trailed off into the silence.
Time passed. Manav remained restless, tossing from one side to the other.
He couldn't sleep-not until he got a reply, not until he knew she was okay.
He sat up and thought, "Landline par phone karu? Shayad utha le."
Taking a deep breath, he dialed the number.
Back at Ayushi's house, Raghav returned from the kitchen, holding a glass of chocolate shake, ready to head to her room.
Just then, the landline in the living room rang.
