Hello fictorians....
Once again, the target hasn't been completed even after a month 😃
I'm tired of setting targets and getting nothing in return. So from now on-no more targets.
Maybe you all get paid to drop one comment or perhaps the mehndi on your hands is too fresh to even tap the star button?
No more begging. No more requests.
I'll continue updating for the genuine ones-those who vote and comment. To the rest?
You're quiet, right?
Cool. So am I.I will update whenever I feel like writing.
You guys think that writing 10k words in a single chapter is a cup of tea? No. It's not! I sit and write straight for hours..
Now if you come to me and say "but you update very late.." Yes I update very rarely. Why? Because I am not finding any motivation to write so I will update whenever I feel to.
Also I have made some changes to the introduction part, like adding the occupations of the elders. Please check them out.
Words count: 11.5k words
Now enjoy reading>

The morning rays cast a soft golden glow on the Tripathi mansion as everyone prepared for the big day-the wedding. The hustle and bustle in every corner reflected the excitement and urgency to reach the palace in time.
In her room, Gauri sat in front of the dressing table while the makeup artist delicately worked on her face.
On either side of her stood Radhika and Janki, giggling as they helped her with her jewellery.
Gauri's face glowed with anticipation-today was the day. The day she was marrying the love of her life. She was thrilled... yet nervous.
Her heart thumped loudly in her chest. Today, she would leave for another home-a home that would soon become her own.
Her eyes moistened at the thought of leaving this home... her sisters, her brother, her parents.
The place where they had all grown up, played together, shared secrets, and made memories. The walls still echoed with their childhood laughter.
Janki, quick to notice the shift in her expression, gently nudged her shoulder.
"Dii, yeh aansu vidaai ke liye bacha ke rakho," she teased with a soft grin.Gauri smiled-she knew exactly what her sister was trying to do.
Seated in front of the mirror, Gauri stared at her reflection-breathtaking vision in a royal purple Paithani saree with shimmering gold zari. Her hair, tied into a neat bun, was adorned with jasmine gajra, while the delicate mundavalya framed her face with strands of pearls.
A traditional nath rested against her cheek, her eyes lined with kohl, lips softly tinted, and wrists jingling with green bangles and gold kadas. Layers of intricate gold necklaces adorned her neck, but it was the mix of anticipation and emotion in her eyes that truly completed the look- a girl on the edge of becoming a bride.
Janki, standing beside her, grinned. "Dii, kya husn pari lag rahi ho."
Radhika giggled. "Haan, ekdum swarg se utri kokil-kanth wali apsara."
Gauri chuckled with them, a blush creeping up her cheeks.
Then, the atmosphere shifted. Radhika's voice softened as she looked down.
"Aaj toh aap chali jaogi..."
