Jumoke's p.o.v

We were ready! They couldn't beat us now. No matter how big their army is we shall knock them down. My love is much stronger than any army in this land. I can't wait to see him fall. Begging for mercy just like he made me. However, this is not about revenge! This is about giving magic freedom and allowing it's followers to be free.

My darling Femi. So close to being together. I can actually have her as my wife the Queen. I have been looking forward to that. Us ruling together. No matter what class anyone is from they shouldn't be ridiculed! Not anymore. And no never again.

"Jumoke? Hello? You need to make a speech. Rally the troops." I heard Femi's angelic voice say.
"Yes. But wouldn't Pane be better suited? He is the leader of this army." I questioned. He knows these people better than I do. Since I lost power I have doubt myself more and more. Do I truly have what it takes to rule a Kingdom. To protect it's people. Last time I tried I failed.
"No Jumoke they are now your's. They are willing to fight with you and for your cause. Make them believe in it. Let it be the very reason they live." Pane said.
"Are you sure? You have looked after them for so long." I am still unsure.
"I have faith in you," Pane said grabbing my shoulder, "you are perfect to now take over. You're the Pharaoh." I nodded in response turning to these people who are now an army. Can they be called that? Obviously women and children won't fight, however, will play a vital role in the oncoming battle. Maybe even war. "Hello my people. You must be nearly out of faith. But now illusion is becoming real. This perfect sky you seek will be yours soon. Luck is on our side. You once had to be ashamed of who you were. Now that won't happen again. Your children will be living a life of freedom if you stand with me. I need your help wining back our home. Our Kingdom. The land which we were rub out of by a cruel leader. Who does not seek justice just terror. We have not come to the worse. I must admit to you that the upcoming war will have casualties. Which will affect everyone. This is truly worth holding on to. If everyone pulls together we can win back what is ours! Now who is with me?" Joy filled me as I raised my fist into the air which was followed by a huge cheer. These people wanted to fight. Fight with me. My Father would of been so proud of me. I was just a boy when I took over the throne. Now I am here eleven years later standing in front of people rallying them for war. I stepped back admiring these people who believed in me.
I felt hands slid round my waist I look down to see Femi beaming up at me. She is so beautiful. Her eyes shine like no other. Why did I always deny that when I was Pharaoh? I lowered my head to kiss her soft lips. When they met sparks flew up and down my body. It felt amazing. How can one person do this to me? As we parted again people cheered. They supported us. Our love. So when we get back we can be together.
"Femi, thank you for your amazing support. It hasn't been easy and we nearly lost each other a few times. But, now you will never lose me I will always be here." I whispered, kissing her forehead.
"Do you really think I want to lose you. Now we have a war. We need to be strong." She said looking up at me.
"Yes I know. Now come on let's get these people ready!" I beamed. We are actually doing this. I can't believe it or how this all happened.

A few hours later we were matching towards the city. Many women and children stayed behind. Some came with us. Unable to be persuaded into staying they wanted to support Femi. It is a long way to go. They had the strength to do it. They had belief in me.
"Pane, we will camp on the side of the hill. Have look outs all around. Plus here there are lots of escape routes if anything does go wrong." He nodded confirming my plan. Now let's see how this turns out.
