Road Trip

|Chapter 17

One thing I learned about letting Adonis drive. Always give him a damn map.

"Great Ado. We are stuck in Indiana. Do you even know where we're going?" I ask.

"Uh yeah. Virginia." .... "Uhm... Where in Virgina are we going?" He asks.

"Richmond. Its not that far. I'm guessing an Eleven hour drive if you count traffic." I say

And off we went...

*duzsh duzsh duzsh* the bus went. The laughter died.

"Adonis?" Nia asks... "Did you fill up the gas before entering Virginia?"

"Uhh..." He says looking back at us. Eyes wide open. "Oops."

"Great, great great great." Chris says. "Just great"

"He sounds hot" I hear Jord whisper to Nia.

"I heard you." I said. They look at me with shocked faces. "So what do we do now?" Kia asks.

"I don't know about you guys, its getting dark, I want fresh air, I'm camping outside till we end up finding someone useful." I say.

"I'm going with Kai." Chris says, taking some pillows and blankets.

"If you get shit on those blankets, you're washing them!" Nia says as I grab Ren.

Chris and I successfully start a fire, Ado and the rest come out to camp out with us. Nobody talks.

"Sit around the campfire, and sing our campfire song..." I mutter, surprised at myself for remembering that old spongebob song.

"C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G song" Nia sings back, hearing me. Soon afterwards, we just start singing, laughing. Looks like the first time almost everyone bonded with everyone else.

Hours came by, its almost midnight.

I filled up old oil jugs with oil a while back. I quickly realize.

"Hey guys... I uh, forgot to mention earlier.... I filled up some jugs with oil, uhm about 5 gallons." I say.

"Are you serious Kai? Are you serious, only now you tell us?" Jord says

"Well I'm sorry, no one asked" I said sarcastically.

Ethan and I grab the jugs and start to fill up the Bus's gas tank. Looks like we'll be back on the road in a few.
