At the end of the lesson Mrs Gilbert gave me and silvenna a pack of custard creams and suddenly everyone was our best friend! We gave everyone a biscuit and saved the rest for eating at lunch. After lunch Silvenna had to go to her basketball club so I skated around school. I nearly got caught by a teacher twice, nearly tripped up a pupil three times and nearly got pushed into a bush by a group of year sevens once.
After lunch break was over I strapped my board to my bag and headed to maths. In this lesson I sat next to Layla Florence who is one of those people that look in the mirror every thirty seconds, talk about herself 24/7 and re does her hair every five minutes. I spent all lesson listening to Layla gabbing on about hair, makeup and shoes. To be honest I wasn't listening to anything she was saying and only passing short comments like: "yeah"or"mm hum,"
When the lesson finished the teacher called out or test results from last week. I got 98% and everyone else got 53%. When we were dismissed everyone was passing comments like: "how did you do it?" and "your so cleaver." I replied to these with my usual load of: "yeah," and "you too,"
Once again I saw Axel staring at me as I pushed past the crowd to find silvenna. She was stood outside the classroom already, that's a good friend.
"Hey silvenna," I said as she walked up to me.
"Hey solo, its holiday now! Are you exited?!" she said smiling. To be honest I had completely forgotten about the seven weeks of holiday that were coming up, until now.
"Yeah, that's gonna be so fun!" I said as I shoved my maths test in my bag.
"What are you planning to do this summer?" she asked as we started walking down the road and out the gates. I had been creating a list of things to do with silvenna this summer, and to get out of the house, but now my mind was blank.
"Nothing really, probably have to do a load of jobs for auntie Clair-"
"But you can still come to my birthday party on the fithteenth?" she interrupted. Oh no! Her birthday party! I completely forgot! I only had five days to get her a present.
"Yeah, sure. I've already got you a present," I said. Why did I say that?!
"Ooh! I can't wait!" she said as she waved bye to me and met up with her boyfriend Mawgan to go to town. Oh great.
