I turned round the corner and stopped by the music shop. I picked up my board, tucked it under my arm and walked in.
"You must be the girl for the guitar, yeah?" said a young looking boy behind the counter. I'm not going to lie, he was cute. I think he was in my school, yeah. I think his name is axel?
"Yeah that's me," I said getting the receipt out of my bag for proof.
"So you got all of the strings replaced?" he asked getting it out of the cupboard
"Yeah, my cousin was angry..."I said. I had punched Freddie for taking the wheels off of my board so Charlie decided to snap all of my strings off.
"I see, beautiful guitar this," he said placing it on the counter.
"Yeah, it was my dad's," I said looking down at my hands. He could tell that this upset me so he decided to change the subject.
"So do you play?"
"Kinda, not very well though,"
"Oh, that will be £15 please," he said as I took the guitar off of the counter and handed him the notes. I put the guitar in its case and slung it on my back with my bag.
"Bye has fun playing," he said as I left the room.
I was back outside in the cold, on my way to school. I dropped my board on the floor again and started rolling down the road.
