Riding solo

Goodnight.

We had picked up two mango smoothies from the corner shop on our way to the park. We sat on the big tire swing and shared our Peparoni pizza.
"I guess I'll have to walk you home now," said Axel as we threw the pizza box and the bottles in the bin.
"Hold out your hand a minute," I said getting my pen out of my pocket. He did what he was told and i wrote in his palm:Georgia Soloman ❤️ and my number. Once I was finished he looked at his palm and smiled.

He held my hand all the way to my door when finally he had to let go.
"I'll text you as soon as possible and ring you in the morning," he said.  And I'll meet you at the park bench at 9:00 to go to your dance show  that will be enough time right?" He said.
"Sure," I said opening the door.
"Goodnight Georgia," he said letting go of his hand. I leant forward and pecked him on the cheek.
"Goodnight axel," I said a so walked into the house and closed the door. I leant against the wall and smiled. My first date! My first hand hold! My first kiss! I was so exited I squealed.
"Shut up Georgia!" Shouted Freddie charging down the stairs.
"Go away Freddie!" I shouted back as I charged towards him and pulled my fist back as in to punch him.
"Georgia's gonna punch me!" Shouted Freddie running up the stairs. I ran after him and into my room. I slammed my door and collapsed on my bed. Today was a good day. Possibly the best so far. I went to bed and checked my phone, a text from Axel:
Help, I've been kissed by an angel. What shall I do?
I rushed to text back:
Kiss her back?
The reply bar went up:
When I next see her I'll try.
What up?
I texted:
Gonna go bed now you?
He replied:
Me too, goodnight solo x
He put a kiss! A kiss! I typed:
Goodnight axel x
