Nora

I silently curse my best friend in my head for tricking me into this trip and I silently curse myself for falling for her trap, as I step off the smelly yellow bus into the blistering heat.

Shortly after the head counselor, Carl, had helped me and Cameron load our luggage into the bus, we started towards the camp after stopping a few times too pick up more people.

The ride was awful with people taking pictures or coming up to me for a autograph or too just talk about my business Dust with me. Then they got into my business on why I was going to Forest meadow with my nephew, Cameron and Amy are known as my relatives to the media and the people instead of me and Amy as best friends, then I got questioned on how I even knew about the camp which thankfully Cam stepped in and said that he had asked me to come with him and found out about the camp from a friend.

After a grueling two our ride with people bugging me and taking pictures you could say I am not a happy camper.

I move out of the way of people, climbing hurriedly out of the smelly bus with Cameron. I moodily started walking over to a girl in a green shirt and khakis, who was waving everyone over. I assumed she was our guide to the camp that was hidden in the woods, I would now be spending a week with my nephew.

Cameron noticing my mood beamed at me.
"Come on aunt Nor, it's just for a week." He whined.

I let out a loud snort.
"A week I wasn't even aware of." I said angrily clenching my jaw while vowing in my head that I would murder my so called 'best' friend when I got back.

Cameron sighed and said "Could you at least act a bit happy Aunt Nor. I know this wasn't your idea of a relaxing vacation but my mom had promised me I could go and I was supposed to go camping this summer with my dad but-"

I stop Cameron before he could say anymore, once I saw his crest fallen face and put on a forced smile. Ill just have to think of ways to get back at my best friend later.

"It's not your fault Cam, it's just this was kind of unexpected and caught me by surprise that's all. Ill stop being moody, lets just focus on having fun okay?" I said ( Lie, this caught me more than by surprise) trying to make my voice sound happy to cheer him up.

"Alright." He muttered his face sullen.

I let out a sigh at my failed attempt of cheering him up as we huddled in with the group from the bus, listening to the guide talk about safety rules and about the animals that live here and about not missing curfew, sticking too your schedules and to always have fun.

Yeah having fun is not looking so good with the way things are going.

When the guide stopped talking, her and two other guides led us on a path through the forest after assuring us our luggage would be brought to our cabins.
I had attempted to get Cameron to talk to me but he would only give me nods or short answers until I gave up and listened to the liveliness of the forest and the people around us.

Soon the forest peeled away to reveal a hill which we had to climb.

Once at the top we had a full view of the area below... The famous extreme camp Forest Meadows.

The area below is a sight too behold. In the middle of the camp was a small town like place all the buildings are log cabins or brick buildings. In the middle of the small town is a fountain with a what looks too be a wolf howling with water spurting out.

Spreading all around the town is the woods with log cabins dotting them which I assume are the cabins. Then a little farther off is a big river and too the side is a mountain with buildings at the bottom which is probably where some of the activities are held.
