Rain pelted against the big glass windows of the small meeting room I was stuck in, creating a sound that sounded like small rocks hitting glass, droning out the speakers voice. Though if I chose too I could hear him perfectly if wanted.

" I believe that if we try hard enough we can accomplish our goal with your support." The male speaker said.

I rolled my eyes, I knew that's what this company wanted. Once I heard that ten other company's CEOs were coming it was quite obvious and I'm sure the other CEOs knew this too.

I leaned forward in my seat and let out a short breath as the speakers eyes roamed over some of the most richest people in the U.S.

Clearing my throat I voice my thoughts.

"Mr.Bradley, So basically what you are saying here is that your organization wants us to fund the project on creating a device that cleans the worlds air?"

All eyes turned to Mr.Bradley, the speaker, before Mr.Bradley shifted slightly before saying.

"Yes." The answer earning many nods and sighs from the other CEOs.

I folded my hands together on the table and looked Mr. Bradley in the eye.

If this project turned to be successful it would benefit 'Dust', the magazine company I built from the ground up until it became the biggest magazine company in America, greatly.

"I would like to say that I am very impressed how far along are you with the machine?"

"Mrs. Jackson, I like to inform you that your private jet has landed and your luggage has been taken from your apartment and shall be loaded shortly. I advise that you leave to the airport soon." My PA, May, informed me once I stepped inside one of the main buildings for Dust.

May was a petite woman with a lot of fire and respect in her, she's very loyal and one of my closest advisors for the company which is not many. She also does her job expertly which is why she's been my PA for many years.

"Thank you May. Has this weeks magazines been prepared?" I questioned while handing her my wet coat.

" Yes mam, the historical/ geographic/ science magazine is done, along with the medical/ food/ living magazine is done and the celebrity/ latest gossip/ fashion/parties magazine is also done."

"Good." I said nodding and made my way to the elevator with May close behind.

Dust magazine covers a variety of things and always gets the most interesting and truest of stories and spot on pictures, making our magazines the top one too read. Though at first we only covered celebrities, we eventually expanded our horizons in different areas which eventually turned into a big success which led this company to be a billion dollar business.

Once we step in the elevator May asks me. "Did the meeting go well?"

"Yes, it went very well after I asked questions about four other CEOs joined in wanting to make the project successful." I muttered.

After a short ride in the elevator I headed straight to my office to grab a few files so I could leave for my flight.

A few months ago my best friend, Amy, got divorced with her husband, once the husband found out their son, Cameron, was gay and refused to accept Cameron for who he was, Amy made the hard decision and kicked her husband to the curb, though she loved him very much.

Now Amy has asked that I visit them to help her out with Cameron for the summer. Apparently Cameron is very depressed and is being bullied and since Amy has no one else to turn too, she wants me there.

Though I have a slight suspicion that I may be there for more than a month since it is now late July and Cameron goes back to school in the middle of August.

Since I have a billion dollar company to run and can't spare more than the rest of the summer I have decided that I was going to try to slowly persuade Amy to come live with me or near me in Chicago, to get them away from that town and house.

After grabbing the files that I wanted to work on while on the plane and made sure my company would be running smoothly in my absence, I left the building and made my way to the airport.

After six hours on my private jet, I was glad that we were landing. I put the files that were scattered over the small table, into my silver suitcase neatly. I am just happy that I had changed on the plane from my pencil skirt and blouse to jean shorts and a very light gray t-shirt with flip flops.

After the flight attendant asked me to put my seat belt on, I quickly buckled myself in as we made a quick landing into the airport.

"Mrs. Jackson we have landed, your luggage shall be taken to your car." The flight attendant Mindy chirped.

I nodded and unbuckled myself from my seat and crabbed my brief case.

"Thank you Mindy." I said with a curt nod and made my way out of the plane and into the summer heat.
