Seeing her there, dying made his heart ache. Why did he feel that way about her? He was carrying the poor girl in his arms bridal style, so she wouldn't get even more pain.

He gently put her down on soft grass, knowing that he couldn't bring her into town because she was an Outlander. Why was there even that rule? No one should have suffered like she has. He wrapped her cuts in leaves, and she looked cold, so he put his sweatshirt on her. He looked down at the poor girl who had tears slipping her closed eyes. Why had they done that to her? He didn't care. They were going to pay for hurting her. His friend. It had been a few hours since he had brought her to this little clearing, when she groaned. She slowly opened her eyes, crying out in pain. Her whole body ached. He sighed in relief. She was alive at least. "R-Romeo?" She asked confused seeing the boy sitting a few feet away from her. He was looking at her, his eyes full of relief and sadness. She tried to sit up but cried out in pain. "W-What happened?" She stuttered trying to remember everything. Tears fell from the bluenette eyes as she remembered the events of the past days. Romeo noticed this, and pulled her into a hug consoling her. He patted her back in consoling way. She just cried lightly. Why her of all people? He had no idea what those men wanted her dead for. "H-How did you..." She started looking up at him. "I was wondering in the forest like every morning, and I saw you from a far distance." He said before she could finish. Her face tendered, and an other tear rolled down her cheek. "Thank you." She muttered, but he heard her very well. "You don't have to worry about them anymore Wendy. They were taken into custody them being wanted criminals and all." Romeo said smiling slightly. Her tensed up body seemed to relax once he said that, and he was glad. She fell into sound slumber still being affected by the blood loss. Romeo would bring her back to the Outlanders castle soon.

After a few minutes of thinking, he got up and put on his cloak covering his face completely. He gently lifted Wendy up, and headed towards the east side of the forest where he would arrive at the Outlanders border. He pulled out some sort of magical device contacting the Captain of the guard Erza Scarlet. "Hello?" She asked impatiently. "I would like to say that I have found Wendy Marvell while on one of my travels. I would like to return her to you. She has had a massive amount of blood loss, and I have done all I can to stop the bleeding." He said masking his voice. He heard Erza gasp. "Please, tell me where to meet you. I would like to personally thank you for saving her. You did not do it to her did you?" He heard Erza say quit threateningly. "No. I assure you with my entire honor that I did not hurt her. As t meeting you, I thank you for the offer, but I cannot. I have to continue my travels." He said in the same low tone. "Very well. Where shall you bring her?" She asked anxiety hanging in her voice. "At the border dividing the Outlanders from the Elementals." He said and Erza gasped. "You are from the Elementals?!" She asked shocked. "Yes, I am. I shall not lie of such a thing. But I am a man of peace." He said. Erza said thank you once more before the magical device shattered into pieces.

He continued walking to the border. He stopped to see if they were already there, and they were. He used another magic device to make her float on a bed of unburnable fire. It would not harm her, or anyone. It was a simple spell. He saw tears form in the swordswoman's eyes, and smiled widely before walking away silently. "Thank you." Erza said.

Wendy opened her eyes feeling so much better than she did before, but still she was still weak from the blood loss and attacks. "Romeo?" She called silently looking around. She looked at her hands realizing that she was in her room, in the palace. That means Romeo was gone. She tried to hold back tears. She wanted to wake up and see him. Lucy entered the room, smiling sweetly. "I'm so glad you're okay." She said sitting beside Wendy on her bed. Her face turned serious. "What happened? Who did this to you? I swear, once I get my hands on them..." Lucy started a dark aura appearing around her and her eyes turning into four legged stars. "Lucy it's all right. They got caught and sent to the dungeon after the army found them." Wendy said cutting her off. "Oh? Really? Hmmm... Who save you?" She asked intently. "It was... Why do you want to know?" Wendy tested and Lucy knew what that meant. "All right. Don't tell me." She pouted. Wendy giggled a bit. "Well, I have a meeting to attend to, get some rest all right Wendy?" She ordered/asked. After Lucy left the room, Wendy let a tear roll down her cheek. She clutched her chest where her heart is, and held it tightly. "What is this feeling?" She asked. She somehow felt sad that Romeo wasn't with her right now. She clutched it harder. "Romeo..." She said and smiled halfheartedly tears running down her face. "You saved me. Thank you." She said smiling brightly.
