Wendy still wondered the forest, and she was starving. "How could he...? He was the first friends I ever had." She sobbed, sitting down under a tree. "Wendy?" Someone called, and she hurried behind a bush. "Don't come any closer!" She said her voice cracking. "Wendy, why are you hiding? Is something wrong?" That person said, and started to move towards the bush. "NO! I... I don't want more people to be afraid of me!" She screamed, but that person didn't listen. He looked over the bush and gasped. Wendy looked up, tears in her eyes. "Romeo... I told you! N-Now I'm going to lose more people I care for!" Wendy said sobbing. She was surprised as Romeo pulled her into a hug. He pulled away and looked at her with sincere eyes. "Wendy, I won't turn my back on you. I won't ever." He said his hands on her shoulders. "I lost everything... My friend, Lucy, Erza... Everyone. I killed somebody! I wanted to heal her, but I just made it worst!" She exclaimed, and Romeo looked a little shocked at the beginning, but gave her a comforting smile. "Don't worry Wendy. It wasn't your fault. You wanted to do well, but something prevented it." Romeo said reassuringly, but Wendy didn't look convinced. "Maybe I am cursed." Wendy mumbled, but because of his excellent hearing, he hears it loud and clear. "Don't you ever say that? You aren't cursed, no one is! You shouldn't believe what people tell you sometimes." He said and helped her up. "It's funny how we always seem to meet each other under this tree. Isn't it?" He said and Wendy looked at it as well. "Yeah, it is." Wendy said, and they held hands. Wendy started to slowly turn back into her normal form, the Wendy that everyone knew. Romeo looked at her and smiled. "What!?" She asked smiling as well. "You changed back." He said and she looked herself over. "Yes! I guess it might be because someone exepted that it was still me." She said, and they stared into each other's eyes.

"I love you Wendy." He said meaningfully. "I love you too Romeo." She said affectionately. They leaned in, and pressed their lips together. They stayed in that position for a while, and then pulled back. Wendy sat against the trunk of the tree, and Romeo followed. It was night now, so they could see the stars quite well. "Aren't they beautiful?" Wendy asked more to herself as she watched the sky in awe. "Yeah they are, but not as beautiful as you." He said and squeezed her hand lightly. Wendy blushed instantly. "Th-Thank you..." She said shyly making him laugh. She rested her head on his shoulder, and fell asleep easily. The most easy since she had to leave her town.

The next morning, she found herself lying neatly on the ground. She got up and rubbed her eyes. She looked around, and saw that Romeo wasn't there anymore. She sighed, deciding not to move from the spot where she was, hoping that he would be back. She looked around and found a note neatly places on a basket. She opened it and looked at the writing.

Dear Wendy,

I figured you would be hungry after all that time in the forest without food. I'm sorry I had to leave, but my dad would get suspicious, and you really don't want that. I let you some food, and supplies, like water, soap, clothes (Don't really know your size :), blankets ECT ECT... Well, I'll be back soon OK?

Romeo Dragneel.

Wendy smiled as she finished the letter. She opened the basket happily. And found exactly what Romeo had said there would be. She took a bottle of water, and a piece of bread with cheese. She ate with relish, and licked her fingers once she finished. She took out a blanket, and a white dress. She spread the blanket out on the ground, and headed to the bush to change. She could absolutely not let anyone see her changing. She took off the dress she was previously wearing, and slid the new one on. It fit perfectly, and she stepped out of the bush. She put her old dress into the basket, and placed it next to the tree. She sat down and leaned on the tree. She waited there for a while, and she started to get cold. "Cold are you?" Someone asked her from behind. Wendy shot to her feet and turned to see who was there in a battle stance. "Whoa! Don't need to get all defensive." The captor of the voice said raising his arms in the air in surrender. Wendy relaxed a little and sat back down. The captor did the same and sat beside her. "You shouldn't sneak up on me like that Romeo!" She exclaimed and shivered again. Romeo snickered then lights his hand on fire. He put his hand on a piece of wood, and it caught on fire. Wendy started to feel warmer now, and sighed happily. "So, you had a good day?" Wendy asked as they watched the sunset. Romeo chuckled a little at that. "I should be the one asking you that Wendy. But fine." He said as their fingers intertwined. "Mine went fine, but it was quite boring." She said and giggled a little. Her head leaned on his shoulder, and they stared at the beautiful sunset. Pink clouds hovered above them, and it was just so peaceful. "Don't you miss your home Wendy?" He asked looking at her with concerned eyes. "Yes. I do miss my home. But they'd just kill me if I ever went back." Wendy said sadly and Romeo squeezed her hand lightly. "You will be able to see your family again Wendy. I promise." Romeo said soothingly, meaning that promise. His eyes widened as he thought of something. "Hey Wendy? How about we carve out names on the tree?" He asked her. Wendy looked at him. "Sure! Why not!" She exclaimed and grabbed a knife from the basket. We carved out names in, then surrounding them by a heart.

Lucy sat in her throne room, broken. "Your highness, you need to eat something. It isn't healthy." The cook said, but Lucy shook her head in despair. "I can't. I can't live with myself anymore. Wendy is gone, and I couldn't do anything about it. I just wish..." Lucy started, but was cut off by an ear piercing screech. Lucy shot from her chair, but almost fell over by the lack of energy. "You must not force yourself my Queen. You might kill yourself." The cook said, but Lucy didn't listen. "I open gate of the Maiden! Virgo!" She chanted and Virgo appeared. "Take me, to that sound." Lucy commanded, and Virgo did as she was told. She picked Lucy up bridal style and dashed t the source of the scream. Virgo let her down as she saw a man standing there, holding a woman by the hair. They were right behind the barrier Lucy had put up a while ago, and was smiling devishly. "What are you doing here?! Who are you?!" Lucy demanded, and the man's hand turned into ice. He brought it through the poor soul's stomach, and dropped her on the ground. " I have come to do one thing... Kill." He said evilly, a dark aura surrounding him. "I open gate of the Lion! LEO!" Lucy screamed, angered that he would dare show his face and kills her people in front of her. In one swift movement, Leo had the man suspended in the air by his hands. Lucy walked through the barrier, and held him by the throat. "Who sent you here? Why are you here!?" Lucy screamed at him. "P-Please... I'm sorry. I didn't have a choice! My King told me to do it! He said he would kill my family if I didn't!" The man said frightened. He started to disappear, and began to panic. "Now that I've told you, I must die. Please, stop this non sense!" He said before disappearing completely. Lucy stood there, her face angered, but deep inside, her heart ached. How could Natsu do something like that?

Natsu was walking in the town trying to find Romeo. He had been gone for quite some time now, and he was worried for him. He heard a loud boom, and ran as fast as he could towards the sound. 'Somebody help me!" He heard a familiar voice shout. He ran faster towards the source. What he saw boiled his blood. There stood a man, holding his only son in the air. He had some sort of knife made out of stars, holding it at Romeo's throat. "Let him go." Natsu growled. The man just laughed in his face. The man didn't do what he was told, and just pulled Romeo higher, making him wince in pain. "I guess you didn't hear me. I said, let him go!" Natsu shouted emphasizing the word 'said'. The man still didn't do so, so Natsu charged. "Fire dragon: Roar!" He shouted. The man was pushed back, dropping Romeo to the ground. Natsu made his way towards the man, and light his hand on fire. "What are you doing here!?" He roared, making the man shake. He got up and chuckled. "My Queen ordered me to do it. I must stay true to her wishes, since what you did." The man said, his green hair waving in the wind. He disappeared in a puff of smoke, and Natsu grinded his teeth. "No more. It is time to end this forever." He said shadowing his eyes. He helped Romeo up and brought him into the palace.
