Chapter 11

Wendy sat there peacefully, drifting to sleep. (This takes place the day after Natsu said that he would end it.) The morning breeze made her hair flow. She was on the verge of a deep sleep, but a loud boom sounding like a bomb echoed from her town. She got up, and heard more boom like sounds. "Fire dragon: Roar!" She heard flames, and in fear for her town, headed for it.

Once she got there, she was horrified. Her town was in flames, and blood was spilled on the ground. "Aahhh!" Someone shouted, and she saw Akio being cornered by two mages. "Ice make:" They started in sync. Wendy acted fast, and before they could throw their attacks, Wendy stood in front of Akio. "Sky shield!" She shouted making a shield as the attacks hit it. Akio opened his eyes, and widened his eyes. "Wendy?" He asked, and Wendy turned to him. She smiled sadly and turned back to the men. "Sky Dragon: Roar!" She shouted taking them out instantly. The boy's eyes widened as Wendy used her actual magic for the first time. "Wh-Why did you save me?" He asked. She put a hand on his shoulder, and looked him in the eye. "Because you are my friend." Wendy said before heading to go and find Lucy. She heard countless whispers as she ran. "What is she doing here? Or: She just saved that little boy!" Things like that. She saw Erza with the blue haired man she thinks is names Jellal. "Erza!" She shouted, and Erza looked up at the petite girl. Erza's eyes watered. "Wendy." She muttered. She walked towards her, and Wendy looked at her and smiled. "I need to use my Sky Dragon magic Erza. I need to help." Wendy said determined. Erza gasped. "No! You can not! Did you already use it?" She asked looking around. Wendy nodded sheepishly. "Well, yeah. I saved Akio though." She said, and ducked and attack that was thrown at her. "Where's Lucy?" Wendy asked, and Erza looked at her. "She's waiting for Natsu to come in the throne room." Erza said before continuing. "Do not go there though. She needs to face him off alone." Wendy nodded before running off again.

She saw Kiy had fallen in his back side, and an Outlander was about to finish him off. He closed his eyes waiting for impact. "Sky Dragon: Roar!" She shouted kicking the man a little backwards. He looked shocked, but then his eyes widened in anger when he saw Wendy. Kiy hid behind her leg as the man stared her down. "You! You killed my wife! Now you're gonna pay!" He shouted as he ran towards her preparing an attack. Wendy hid Kiy behind her protectively, and got into a battle stance. "I did not! I would never! I tried to save her!" Wendy shouted before shouting another attack. "Sky dragon: Wing attack!" She shouted, and the man skidded back a few paces. "Wait! You're a Sky Dragon slayer?" He asked shocked. Wendy chuckled. "Close." She said before turning her back to him. "KIY!" A female voice shouted from behind them. A woman with blue hair came running. She picked up the child and hugged him. She got into a battle stance, seeing Wendy, but then stopped when she saw who it was. "Juvia!" A man with raven hair called out. He was followed by a young man who looked quite worried. "I'm fine Gray." Juvia said and held Kiy. "I can't believe Natsu's making the children fight as well. He must really be mad." Gray said sadly, frowning.

Wendy left the family and headed towards the center of the town. "Lightening Dragon: Roar!" Someone shouted knocking Wendy to her feet. She felt excruciating pain, like being electrocuted, but then it vanished. She got up quickly, turning to face him. "Sky Dragon: Roar!" She shouted knocking him to the ground. "Ah, so you're a dragon slayer as well hen? This should be fun." He said before getting up again. "Laxus!" Someone shouted. He turned around and saw a woman with white hair running for him. "Mira...?" He asked tears in his eyes. "Yes Laxus. It's me." She said tears in her eyes as well as she hugged him. He hugged her back. 'They are just like me and Romeo pretty much..." Wendy thought relaxed, but then her eyes widened. "Romeo!" She shouted running around trying to find him.

"Fire trap!" Someone shouted trapping her in a ring of fire. A woman stepped out of the shadows, her face crazed. She had long red hair that was burning at the end. Wendy's eyes widened. "Who are you?" She shouted, and the woman laughed mockingly. "My name is Flare." She said as she swung her hair at Wendy. She only barely managed to get out of the way, but fire had grazed her arms and legs. "Iron rock fist!" Someone shouted hitting her in the back. She cried out in pain, as she saw a man whit a bald head and beard approaching her. "Jura hunny. You're finally here." She said sweetly. Jura went and stood beside Flare, and they got into a battle position. "Sky Dragon: Roar!" She shouted, but Jura was quick. "Iron rock wall!" He chanted making a huge rock wall, blocking her attack. "Sky Dragon: Wing attack!" She shouted once the wall had crumbled. This time, they could not block her attack. It hit them, and they skidded back a little. "King rock crush!" He shouted caving Wendy in some sort of cave made of rocks. Wendy smirked. "Sky teleport! Out!" She shouted, and was teleported out of the rocks. Jura and Flare stood there in shock. "Sky Dragon: Talon!" Wendy shouted hitting them with the back of her heel. "Wendy?" Someone called through the fire.

The girl looked back, and Romeo burst through the flames. "You, you're a Sky Dragon slayer?" He asked her, disbelief and hurt in his eyes. Wendy was about to respond, but was hit with incredible force in the back. She cried out in pain and fell to the ground. Fire wrapped around her ankles, pulling her into the air upside down. "Ahh!" Wendy shouted a little as Flare's hair was coming and wrapping around her body, burning her skin. She howled in agony. "Flare! Jura! STOP!" He commanded, and the two stopped attacking, and Flare let her drop to the ground. Romeo caught her before she fell. "Are you alright Wendy?" He asked concerned, and Wendy smiled. "Nothing I can't handle." She joked. Red light appeared, covering everything up. "No! Not yet!" Wendy wanted to shout, but couldn't.
