Yuu slowly woke up with a blurry vision at first, it took him a few minutes for his vision to adjust to what seems to be a white room, he quickly panic and started to look at his surroundings quickly.

"hey , hey its ok your safe, your in the hospital"
said the male voice near by, Yuu then turns his head and look at the person who was now entering the room. Yuu didn't dare to take his eyes off him, just in case the mystery man doesn't do anything funny, the man had light brown skin, his eyes were a bright yellow, his hair, ears and tail were the color of black and he was maybe about 6'1 tall from Yuu's point of view.

"Im the one who save you back in the ally, Im Nate by the way"he said while smiling at Yuu.

Yuu slowly remember the male voice before he lost consciousness.
"u-um are you a-a police m-man?"
Yuu ask curiously yet scare not knowing how Nate will react toward him by just asking a simple question, Nate look at him confuse for a second until he remember.
"oh no, Im not a police man ,I said it to scared them off, you should of seen there faces it was hilarious"
he laugh for a bit while Yuu keeps staring at him
'...why did he save me?'
Yuu thought but didn't dare to ask.

Suddenly a nurse came in the room.
"sorry to disturb you, but I just call your father and he said he was on his way"
said the nurse, fear took over Yuu's body, his went eyes wide like they've seen a really gory movie, his ears were bended down and his body started to shake like crazy, Nate notice his reaction, Yuu then tries to get out of bed but Nate stop him.
"woa, were you think your going, you have to rest"
he said, but Yuu really needed to get out of there, Yuu toke a deep breath and spoke.

" ...P-please if I don't g-go now, he w-will make m-my life a-a living hell, h-his probably gonna k-kill me after what i did to him"
Nate wanted to question him more but decided not to ... for now.
Nate look at the nurse.

"Don't let his father in here ...it doesn't look like there on good terms"
Nate was death serious about what he said.
"Should I call the police?"
the nurse ask, knowing That You had other injuries all over his body that were old and a few that were new.

Yuu quickly shook his head, not wanting to make things worse between him and his father.
The nurse nodded her head in agreement and leave the room, Nate help Yuu to lay again on the bed, Yuu couldn't believe what just happen.. someone actually help him and not hurt him...
"Do you have any other family members that I can contact?"

Nate ask, Yuu look down at his lap and slowly shoke his head no. Yuu never heard, seen or probably can't remember his other family members, not even onces, so it was completely useless. They either dont know were he lived or his father probably push them all away ever since his mother died.

Nate took a deep breath and let it all out while looking at Yuu.
"Well looks like your staying at my place!"
Nate said cheerfully, Yuu look at him in shock and confused.
"w-why?"
Yuu immediately covers his mouth with both hands, he didn't mean to say it out loud, he thought it was a rude thing to ask a person so he then stops looking at Nate and was once again looking at his lap, he began to shake a bit, but not like earlier, he was going to apologies but was quickly cut off by Nate.

"well ... not to sound like an asshole, but...you cant stay in the hospital forever, you don't have know were to live, no money, no food and I can't just leave you in the streets after I save your life."
he said almost bluntly but dead serious.

Yuu began to think 'he those have a point there..is true what he said I have nothing , even though he seems nice, I shouldn't let my guard down..besides I can't live at his place forever, his going to grow tired of me anytime soon....I guess I could give it a try' he slowly remove his hands from his mouth and spoke.
"....u-um i-i guess I can s-stay for a while-e"
Nate smiles
"Wonderful"

The same nurse came in the room and said
"you have 5 min. before visiting hours are over"
and walk back out
"well guess I better get going...by the way, I didn't catch your name"
Yuu finally look back at him and nervously said
"my n-name is Yuu"
Nate stands up from his chair "Yuu...I like it"

He started walking towards the door while speaking
"I'll be back tomorrow morning, OK? So try to get some sleep and don't go and try to escape and Rome around the streets, cause if u do, I'm going to give you a giant lecture that's going to make you fall asleep for days."
he opens the door and look back at Yuu and ended smiling while saying his last good byes
"Good night Yuu"
he waves his hand and leaves.

After Nate left, Yuu began looking all the bandages all over his body, He put one hand were his eye was cover up, almost half of his face was cover with bandages as well amd began to wonder how bad was his eye was injured...Yuu began to process and analyzed what just happen, he's was save, given a places to stay for sometime and someone  was finally being nice and caring to him....he think it over, over and over again until he fell asleep, but before he did, he just realized something very important to him ...and that is, that this might be the first time he actually sleeps on a real bed and a real pillow....in years.
