~ a week later ~

Yuu and Nate been getting along pretty well, even better then before, Yuu has been helping around the house even though Nate told him not to, but if Yuu doesn't do anything he feels useless and besides that since he is living on Nates house he shouldn't be laying around while Nate is doing all the work, that would be extremely rude, though sometimes when Nate is away for work Yuu takes the time to clean a little and cooks for him, Nate's has been also teaching Yuu to cook other things , luckily Yuu is a fast learner, Nate loves Yuu's cooking and would always tells Yuu how much he likes his cooking, making Yuh blush every time he is being praised by Nate ... Or pretty much by whatever says to him.

Today Yuu finally can take of the bandage that is covering half of his face.He already took off his other bandages a while ago, but the doctor recommended, that the bandage on his eye should stay a little longer , at least for a week and today is that week.
"Do you need help with that?"
Nate ask while pointing at the bandage.
"No I got it , but thanks for the offer"
Yuu said while walking towards the bathroom.
"Well if you need anything call me ,ok?"
Nate said while slowly walking towards the living room, Yuu opens the bathroom door and said.
"OK, I will"
and closes the door, Yuu looks at himself in the mirror for a while, this probably the first time in years that he took a really good look at himself, he then reach out to with one of his hands and rubs his hair between his fingers.
'I should probably get a hair cut...I wonder if Nate thinks if I'm some kind of hippie with this hair of mine ....or maybe a homeless guy?..no,no this is Nate were talking about , he wouldn't think less of me ....would he?'
He then slowly lowers his hand and raises the other to take off the bandage, his hand were starting to shake a bit as he finally took it off and throw it into the garbage, he looks up at the mirror to take a good look of his eye, but his hair was in the way, he slowly but nervously remove it and finally saw what his father has done to him, he was in total shock and began to lose his breath while his heart was slowly but quickly beating, his father has finally cross the line, Yuu somehow lost his balance and fall down on the floor, he began to heavily breath and cover of what use to be his eye.
'omg!, why did it turn out like this?, why didnt the doctor say anything about this?!..I look like a freak! I am a freak!..Oh no..What would Nate think of me now?!, I'm sure he will find me disgusting ..'
Yuu continue to think this negative thoughts none stop as tears began to fall down on his cheeks and silently cries, his ears were bended, his tail was between his legs, his knees was close to his chest since his arms were around them and hugs them very close to his chest to somewhat comfort himself and maybe calms down a bit.

Nate was watching tv in the living room for a while, as one of his favorite shows just ended, he realized that Yuu hasn't come out of the bathroom yet, he began to worry, Yuu has been in the bathroom for to long, he stood up from the couch, walks towards the close bathroom door and knocks a few times on it.
"Yuu ,you ok?"
Nate ask , there was worried and concern on Nates voice, but the knock from the door made Yuu panic a bit and tries to calm himself down a bit and began to wipe away the tears.
"Yeah im fine.. Ill be out in a bit"
Yuu said as he slowly stood up from the floor, he splashes some water on his face and dry himself with a towel, Yuu stood in front of the door for a moment before opening the door and meets Nate, who was waiting for Yuu to come out, since of course, he didn't believe Yuu of him being ok, he could see it now up close, he could tell that Yuu was crying by how puffy his eye was and how his nose was a bit red, but decided to not to say or mention anything to Yuu ...yet.

"How's your eye?"
Nate ask as he was of course worried, Nate raised his hand up to see Yuu's eye, but Yuu moved his head to the side and took a step back from Nate.
"Um, its just a bit swollen that's all, doctor tolled me it would be like that and that it would go away in a few days ..so..everything is fine, don't worry"
Yuh said as he gave Nate a fake little smile, but Nate knew something was wrong... But decided pressure or question him until maybe later on.
" Oh, OK ,that's good ,well anyways wanna watch a movie?"
Nate ask as a smile grew on his face.
"Y-Yeah"
Yuu said a real smile grew a bit on his face, Nate always has a way to make him smile and forget all his problems and worries in a second, both of them walk to the living room, sat down next to each other while Nate began to look for a movie in Netflix, after about 5 minutes later, he found something that he thought that Yuu might like, he push play and they were now watching 'Despicable Me'
After a while of watching the movie they began to laugh at almost every part of the movie.
Yuh for a moment realized that this is the first time in a while since he laugh this hard with someone, he was glad that got to meet a person like Nate...
After the movie ended Yuu fast asleep on Nate's shoulder.Nate looks down to see Yuus cute sleeping face.
'He will probably hate me if I call him cute'
Nate chuckles at the thought of it. He catch himself staring at Yuus hair were it was covering the other eye, he wanted to see it so badly, but he knew it was against Yuu's wishes, he sighs and decided to take Yuu to his bedroom. He gently picks up Yuu from the couch and carries him to his room, when he finally reach Yuus room he slowly but gently place him on the bed and cover him up with the blanket. Nate smiles at the sight at Yuu's adorable sleeping face, he slowly steps back, away from Yuus bed and walks to his own room.
